Design Tweaking on Side Income Blogging

Spent some time yesterday and today tweaking the design of my Side Income Blogging site (http://sideincomeblogging.com).  I made the site wider, changed the content font and made it larger, and added the really slick looking Social Warfare plugin by +Dustin W. Stout, +Jason T. Wiser and +Nicholas Cardot

Social Warfare is a really professional looking and flexible social bookmarking plugin.   I'm impressed, and looking forward to future versions of it.  Check it out here: http://warfareplugins.com.

Here's a screenshot of it running on SIB:

Who moved my blogging cheese?

Was reading through some of my older articles today, looking to maybe prune/refresh some content.   Came across this one, which is a favorite of mine.

Things change, especially on the internet.  Don't be the person who sits around waiting for it things to go back to the way they were, it just won't happen.

Resharing, as the link was missing earlier.

I have borderline high blood pressure, and as a result, I've been doing lots of reading and research on how to naturally control it.  While doing so, I ran across a number of really frightening facts about high blood pressure, that I'll bet many of you don't know.  I sure didn't.   Pay attention to your blood pressure, it could literally save your life.

Amazing real life story of hardship, trials, hope, and salvation by my friend +Keith Bloemendaal.  If you read anything today, make this the one thing that you read.   Have a tissue handy, you might need it.

My Addiction - Death and Salvation
Part of my Storytelling Series, this one tells about my struggles with drug addiction and near death because of it

Ok, here it is. I spent my Easter morning reflecting on a time 7yrs ago that saved my life. It's long, it's truthful, it's painful, and it's joyful.

Some people question why I am doing this, writing true stories of bad times, I say because what if it helps just one person?

Please have a read and let me know what you think.

000000 SHARESAs part of my Storytelling Series, I vowed to tell the story of my near death from drug addiction. This is that story. There are parts of this story that I am very ashamed of, but I don’t hide from it, nor do I run from it. It keeps me grounded to this day, ...

+Jason Hill I haven't had any time to create websites lately, I am, however, working on an app for construction managers, it is still in the research phase but am talking with some investors.

No waves yet, I don't touch the water until it gets in the mid 70º mark, usually mid to late May. But I do plan on it!

The Bourbon Barrel is one of the best restaurants in the Waynesville area and as locals, we eat there frequently along with a few other high end restaurants in the area. The menu is excellent, and their daily specials are beyond excellent. We've been eating there for more than a year, and I don't think we've ever had the same special twice. They always have something delicious and unique. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, and I would be surprised if you got out of there without one of the owners stopping by to say hello and make sure you dining experience is top notch. I highly recommend the Harlow Ridge Pinot Noir, and the fried oyster appetizer. You cannot go wrong eating here.

The Sweet Onion is one of the best restaurants in the Waynesville area and as locals, we eat there often. Their daily specials are outstanding, as is their normal menu. In 5 years of visiting The Sweet Onion, I can honestly say I've never had any meal I didn't care for. The staff is incredibly friendly and do a great job being timely with the food and ensuring your dining experience is top notch. You absolutely cannot go wrong eating here.

Hurley's is a great creekside restaurant in Maggie Valley. We've been there a number of times, and enjoyed the food and staff. One of the things I really like about Hurley's is when the weather is nice you can dine creekside with the wonderful sounds of Jonathan Creek in the background. The food is very good and highly recommend the prime rib and Hurley's chicken. Prices are in the line with the quality and environment.
