TCC Sunday Reading Reflection - August 20, 2017

So was Jesus really being rude to her? Or, as some other commentators have suggested elsewhere, did the woman end up changing Jesus’ mind?

Of course not.

"Under Surveillance: Dad Faces Some Demons"

Props to the dad in today’s Under Surveillance, who forced himself to momentarily overcome his fear of heights, and risked a peek at the Atlantic Ocean atop the cliffs of the Irish coast. He might still be afraid of heights, but he relied on courage and forced himself to briefly defeat it, and claim victory on that day.

TCC Sunday Reading Reflection - 8/13/2017

"He calls to us, waking us from our slumber, and asks us only to place our trust in Him, to brave the rough waters, keep our eyes upon him, and just walk in the way He tells us to go. He asks us to step out in spite of our fears and attempt things which defy our logic and seem impossible. He bids us to remember that all things are possible with Him."

"A Plea for Peace"

Catholic blogger and author Sherry Antonetti, who blogs at Chocolate for your Brain and is a regular contributor to National Catholic Register and Aleteia, is a favorite here at The Catholic Conspiracy. Her posts are inspiring, uplifting, and often funny, and her latest, A Plea for All of Us to Pray for All of Us, is a call to the Catholic on-line community to join in prayer tomorrow, for peace in the world and in the Church.
