When everyone moves over to G+, I will be elated. This could do the trick. It won't, but it could.
Year after year Facebook “likes” have been the definitive measure of success for marketers. This is all changing with a new feature already in place.

GREAT way to keep people around (no, not sexy ladies, but a message to those trying to unsubscribe):
Email subscribers are where the gold lies for most brands, so holding on to them is an important challenge. This strategy can go a long way toward keeping their eyes glued.

Thoughts?
Marketers have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, and many are publicly jumping ship. Is leaving Facebook in YOUR best interest?

It's like the Yellow Pages or having a website used to be. It is an expectation of the client/consumer.

From a brand perspective it offers a robust, interactive experience and demographic targeting capabilities that are unparalleled by any other social network.

You know I'm not a fan of government overreach or endless committees and agencies, but I AM A FAN of the CFPB who is helping to put financial terminology into layman's terms for consumers in endless ways, in an effort so avert another economic crisis.   #CFPB   #Finances
The CFPB has taken additional steps to protect individuals with limited English abilities, ensuring they will be better protected from fraud and scams.

GREAT READ (and something I hadn't thought of before):
If you want to get an honest look at company culture, ask employees about the attendance policies.

You can still use wi-fi and ACTUALLY mask your IP, this is frickin' GENIUS.
Privacy has become perhaps the single largest issue facing the internet today and your IP address has a lot to do with it, but a new tool could change this.

+Dawn Brotherton offers some really  helpful insight here (and now I think I might be trying to do too much....):
It is common to feel overwhelmed with balancing work and family, but sometimes you may be trying to do too much - here are the signs that you've reached that point.

Story
Tagline
COO at AGBeat.com; I specialize in marketing, real estate and technology news and theories.
Introduction
Lani Rosales is the Chief Operating Officer of AGBeat.com, a business editor, and a Texas native with a BA in English from the University of Texas. Prior to AG, Lani was the Marketing Director at an independent real estate brokerage, designing the brand from scratch. As a digital native, she has closely studied advanced technolgoies and new media, and has been named one of Real Estate's 100 Most Influential, and one of the 12 Most Influential Web Writers. Lani co-founded BASHH (the Big Ass Social Happy Hour), and co-organizes the Ignite Austin speaker series.

My writing was first published when I was ten (when my favorite song was "Good Vibrations" by a guy in undies who traveled with a funky bunch) and I've written competitively ever since (yeah, I lettered in UIL journalism in high school, so what?).

I enjoy bread but don't eat it, have an annoying affinity for UT football, have an irrational fear of sea creatures and at the core, I am a laid back Austinite that will knock back a Blue Moon with just about anyone.
Bragging rights
I spoke at Austin's first ever Ignite speaker series. My topic was the Etymology of Cuss Words. Most nerve wracking thing I've done in my LIFE.
