I don't like coleslaw. But when you put coleslaw ontop of a fresh house made and cured pastrami omg. Heaven! Get the potato pancakes and be sure they are served with apple sauce and sour cream! They should come like that but just make sure, don't miss out. This place is a must-stop eatery while in LA.

Beat damn pastrami (#19!) in the country. Beats Wexlers, Katz and more. As expensive as all the others ($18 for the classic) but worth every penny and each sandwich could easily be 2 meals.

Highly recommend coming here for breakfast but make sure you arrive early because it gets really packed! I came here with my girlfriends on a Saturday morning for brunch for the first time and had such a great time. The food and service was excellent! I ordered 3 eggs pastrami with hash-browns and hot coffee, it was so delicious and perfect breakfast food. It really hit the spot and made my Saturday! I'm so glad I check out the famous Langer's it was so worth it!

Langer's is on the pricey, but it's well worth it. I came here for lunch, the service was quick and their French Dip brisket sandwich was one of the best I've had! I was able to share my other half of the sandwich and I left feeling satisfied. Their #19 sandwich with coleslaw looked delicious, and is next on my list to try here at Langer's on my next visit.

Got to say I was skeptical of this place. Any time you hear some sandwich is the greatest ever, you've got to be a bit skeptical. I went with someone who's a meat eater (I'm vegetarian). It didn't look to be a good experience. Parking down the street appears expensive (found out later that you can get it validated for up to 90 minutes), but we got street parking for cheap ($1 for an hour). At Langer's, there's a long line outside that looks like a Disneyland ride line. But the line moves efficiently, and there is quite a coordinated team effort among the staff (via walkie-talkies) to get things done well. If you're a group of two and willing to sit at the counter, you can be seated within minutes, even if it's very crowded. Service was attentive but not overly friendly (a plus, in my book). And the prices aren't too bad... a tad expensive, but based on how much hype this place gets, they could easily charge more and get away with it. My meat-eating dining companion is quite picky about pastrami and holds Schwartz's in Montreal up as the place to beat, but she was very impressed with the famed #19 (the meat doesn't beat Schwartz's, but the sandwich overall is the best, because of the bread/meat combo). I had a mushroom/swiss/avocado omelette that was delicious—not too much cheese and tons of avocado! I also had a strawberry milkshake, which was decent (not the best I ever had). If you're generally skeptical of tourist-trap restaurants that are over-hyped, I would recommend you still check out Langer's!

the food was excellent and the curbside service is really convenient, very pricey (but worth it) I got a pastrami sandwich on rye and paid 15$ I feel if they throw in a can soda and a bag of chips or a small fry they would kill it even more so

Resisted common urge to either get hot pastrami or the #19 sandwiches. Mixed delicatessen platter unveiled finer details and differences between the pickled tongue, pastrami, and corned beef. Tongue might be my favorite of the three, though.

Was there around for lunch bought two sandwiches and it up being $40 overpriced delicatessen food not really paying for atmosphere or vibe let alone the view don't understand why this place is so hyped up . Overpriced the reason I say this is that when you order a sandwich all you're getting is the sandwich and a pickle does not come with a drink nor some fries , you got to get that separate so you're already pretty much $15-$18 into a sandwich and nothing more ...Los Angeles classic ???! Who the hell decides these things? So confused by this place ...🤔
