the food was excellent and the curbside service is really convenient, very pricey (but worth it) I got a pastrami sandwich on rye and paid 15$ I feel if they throw in a can soda and a bag of chips or a small fry they would kill it even more so

Langer's is on the pricey, but it's well worth it. I came here for lunch, the service was quick and their French Dip brisket sandwich was one of the best I've had! I was able to share my other half of the sandwich and I left feeling satisfied. Their #19 sandwich with coleslaw looked delicious, and is next on my list to try here at Langer's on my next visit.

Best pastrami sandwich I've had, with lots of meat piled high! Service was good. So much good stuff on the menu I want to try. That being said, it's a pain to park and the Langer's lot is a good block away.

I had a bad experience at this restaurant today. I took one picture of the deli counter while sitting at a table waiting for my order to arrive. I used a 35mm camera. My order arrived and 30 minutes later the owner approached me. In an aggressive tone and in front of other customers he told me not to take any pictures because of privacy issues. He said many lawyers etc..expect privacy. I told him I did not take any photos of people and he said take only pictures of the food. I asked him what is he telling customers who use cell phones? He did not have an answer. I wished he would have expressed his concerns before my meal arrived. Perhaps I would have left but now that I have eaten the meal I had to pay. This was an annoying experience and I may never go there again. The owner's behavior reminded me of a bouncer in a nightclub.

Highly recommend coming here for breakfast but make sure you arrive early because it gets really packed! I came here with my girlfriends on a Saturday morning for brunch for the first time and had such a great time. The food and service was excellent! I ordered 3 eggs pastrami with hash-browns and hot coffee, it was so delicious and perfect breakfast food. It really hit the spot and made my Saturday! I'm so glad I check out the famous Langer's it was so worth it!

Was there around for lunch bought two sandwiches and it up being $40 overpriced delicatessen food not really paying for atmosphere or vibe let alone the view don't understand why this place is so hyped up . Overpriced the reason I say this is that when you order a sandwich all you're getting is the sandwich and a pickle does not come with a drink nor some fries , you got to get that separate so you're already pretty much $15-$18 into a sandwich and nothing more ...Los Angeles classic ???! Who the hell decides these things? So confused by this place ...🤔

Expensive, but worth it. Easily the best pastrami sandwich in LA (and some might argue the best you'll get anywhere). Get yourself a #19 with a side of their perfectly golden and crispy fries, and you'll be very happy. Enough to split between two people, but you'll almost certainly want to eat the whole thing yourself.

The hype is real. I was always just content with my pastrami dip from The Hat, but after so many years one becomes naturally inclined to become curious enough to peak over the wall of familiarity and consistency. And so I got in my car, sat through the LA traffic, patiently hunted down a parking spot, and walked through waves of entrepreneurs offering to sell me a fake ID. Sorry guys, you're about 10 years too late. I finally got through the door of the renowned Langer's and immediately I felt, just right. From the servers to the decor, to the packed house of people from every race and class, I knew that something real special lay inside these 4 walls. Surely enough, the sandwich did not dissapoint. There's a reason why this place can exist across from MacArthur Park for so many years.
