Happy New Years (eve)! Thanks for all the support as I periodically experienced some growing pains during the second year of business. I certainly hope to continue and establishing new customer relationships in 2017 ..Unfortunately since Foley Landscape Services is not a large operation (for now at least!), we got to a point last year where we could no longer take on new customers ..especially towards the end of fall , and while I am incredibly grateful for the unexpectedly large influx of new customers an people contacting me asking for estimates compared to our first year...

.I do apologize for getting to a point where I could no longer take on any more jobs towards the end of the year due to lack of time and man power..i'm going to do everything possible to make sure that's not an issue in the future ever again and I look forward to continue building new and existing customer relationships

thankfully that has put us in a position to reassess and improve operations the best ways possible, and how to provide the best quality service you can expect while being able to meet the demand of people requesting our services (which i am incredibly grateful and appreciative of!)

I am already extremely busy planning ways to both expand and be more efficient and hope to aim for same-day responses for all new customer requests (hopefully starting with someone to handle the phone calls and website form requests for me full time starting in the spring...it is getting difficult to work and keep up with them on my own in a timely manner....although i will still absolutely make myself available to speak with daily...my hope is that someone to take and relay the messages just makes that easier!

In the meantime i'll continue to post occasional updates on facebook/twitter/google+ (working on instagram and youtube) and some additions/improvements to the website here and there...PLEASE feel free to offer any input/suggestions/ideas you might have, i'd love to hear them

we are for the most part done for the season, however still available for certain jobs through the winter (like fallen tree removal, etc). there are a limited number of customers we can still add for scheduled snow removal as well!

New invoicing system and online credit card (secure!) payment options are almost done and ready to be integrated soon. Our goal is to give every customer a variety of payment options that suits their preference, and make the entire process as easy and hassle-free as possible. hopefully before fall cleanups start ..I'm Still working on (and plan on finishing) integrating customer login accounts at http://LandscapeCape.com with viewable bills and secure credit card processing to pay them without having to meet or mail them in. I'm also going to try to integrate all my reviews from yelp/facebook/google+/yp.com/angie's list/houszz.com/the better business beaurea (BBB..an A rating by the way :) anda few other sites im sure i'm forgetting.
other features too i hope (but my brain is bouncing a million miles a minute between what to prioritize first along with getting actual work done...i do most everything myself if that's not obvious :)

website and email are functional again. will be working on many other updates soon (including features like online bill pay, credit card acceptments/choice of payment/ cutomer login accounts to check balance and progress/photos of projects, and a blog if i have the time to write one (or kind find a nice interen willing to help me out with that in exchange for free landscaping lessons :) haha

also implementing special (and free!) software compatible with iOS and android for your tablet/ipad/smartphone that integrates with a lot of this to make things easier for me and the customers.( if all goes perfectly, someone to answer my calls for me too finally!)

hopefully it will all come together by mid fall when things start to get busy again. i will keep you updated! thanks for following and your support all! cheers!

I just discovered there's a town in alabama called "Foley"...which finally explains why about 20% of the calls I get are people from Alabama looking for a landscaping company and don't realize that Foley is my last name, not my location. On that note, If I ever open up a second location, now I know where it will be. I've already got a mile long list of new customers just waiting for me to open up shop down in Foley, AL.
