Fancy writing for us here at Land of Technology?

One of the biggest mis-conceptions about writing for a technology website is that you need to have a load of experience, this could not be further from the truth. We encourage writers of all skill levels to come and write for us. Whether you have never written anything in your life or you are a seasoned pro we will always have a role for you here.

We cover the following news topics on Land of Technology:

Computing News

Gaming News

Mobile News

Wearables News

For each news topic we have several sub-topics, some of those sub-topics may well be exactly what makes your geeky inner self tingle. To see which sub-topics we cover simply head on over to our home page.

The core Land of Technology team get the opportunity to attend press events and even complete product reviews (often before the general public get to see a device) however we expect all team members to contribute to writing news or perform editing duties for other writers.

If you think you have what it takes and want to get your name out there or even want to know more about what you could do for the site then drop us an email via

First Wi-Fi Consultation Clinic for Consumers Launches Online
New global website dedicated to diagnosing Wi-Fi issues is available from today
28th April 2014 – A new website offering advice and solutions on how consumers can banish Wi-Fi blackspots in the home has been launched today by Powerline networking specialist, devolo. The site is the latest addition to the company’s expanding ‘Cure Weak Wi-Fi’ campaign, which aims to help households to get the most from their wireless devices.
The website follows the light hearted ‘medical’ theme of the ‘Cure Weak Wi-Fi’ campaign, with users participating in a consultation for an accurate diagnosis, a first-aid chart for initial treatment, and a subsequent medication and prescription to treat the problem, all tailored for each individual.
Those attending the clinic will answer a range of ‘health check’ questions to highlight symptoms, from the type of property they live in, the number of rooms and floors, and the types of devices they wish to use. Medication is then suggested with additional help on application, before being directed to the nearest pharmacy.
An extensive dictionary is available on the new website so patients can quickly look up the meaning of any jargon, and following treatment, they can become first aiders themselves by sending an email to friends and family to get checked out.
Appointments are available at any time and the clinic is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. To cure your weak Wi-Fi visit:
