It took our awesome team approximately 8 hours to setup 4,565 cans of food to create the spectacular canned IRON MAN! You can still see all of the displays from the CANstruction Greater Lehigh Valley Design and Build Competition through the end of this week. Once the displays are taken down all canned food will be donated to The Second Harvest Food Bank. Check out the time lapse video here! http://ow.ly/DPdQ30fUVGS

"Iron Man. That's kind of catchy. It's got a nice ring to it. I mean it's not technically accurate. The suit's a gold titanium alloy, but it's kind of provocative, the imagery anyway." Tony Stark (reading the newspaper)

In our case the suit is made out of... cans. 4,565 cans to be exact! Check out our canned Iron Man at the Lehigh Valley Mall from now until October 20th. http://ow.ly/i/zkYQC http://ow.ly/i/zkYR9

For the 3rd year in a row Laminators Inc. has participated in Lehigh Valley’s Annual CANstruction Event, where teams of builders, engineers, construction/manufacturing industry leaders and local design students build structures made entirely out of cans of food. Each CANstructure includes between 4,000-8,000 cans of food. Once the event is over all cans will be donated to the Second Harvest of the Lehigh Valley!

This year's theme is 'COMIC-CAN Comic Book Edition' in which the teams will build CANsculptures of their favorite comic book characters.

If you're local stop by the Lehigh Valley Mall where each CANstructure will be displayed from Oct 6-20.

Can you guess which superhero we're building?? http://ow.ly/i/zks1W http://ow.ly/i/zks2r http://ow.ly/i/zks2Y

Did you know our Omega-Lite ACM panels maintain a class A fire rating and are NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 285 approved when used in several of our different proprietary installation methods? Composed of a polypropylene, corrugated core between two finished aluminum sheets, these panels are non-absorbent, water-resistant, and easy to maintain. They offer a highly decorative, strong, and durable surface finish for exterior wall surfaces. Read more about why we use a PP core: http://ow.ly/hwjY30e6PIX

Being one of the leading manufacturers of ACM panels in the United States, we wanted to address the terrible tragedy that recently happened in London at the Grenfell Tower residential building. Sadly, this deadly fire could have been prevented and with the numerous building and safety codes enforced in the USA it is likely that something of this severe nature would not happen in the states. There are codes in place to protect against this exact situation and we as an organization work very diligently to make sure that the proper ACM product and installation system is used to ensure code compliance.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in this tragic incident.
