What’s the worst health offense in our modern world?

Someone asked me this the other day… Easy!  It’s like the old Plat Du Jour Joke….  If you were on a desert island with only one food what would it be?  Palt du jour of course.  Well the plat du jour of health is certainly this favorite Sanksrit phrase:

Prajnaparadha. /praj·na·pa·ra·dha/ (pruj″nah-pah-rah-thah´)  def.  Crimes against wisdom.  Willful indulgence in unhealthy practices by ignoring inner knowledge.

Slipping is indeed crash’s law.  The idea that we slide towards our failures gradually can be helpful because it means that we can put a stop to dangers at any point before we collapse in a heap of dis-ease and illness.  All true as long as we believe in personal responsibility and having our eyes wide open.
