Very pretty and great location. Room was large and beautiful. Happened to be very pricey when we traveled there. Had a few issues in our room. Shower door allowed water to leak out and on to the floor. Shower door handle was broken, outlet in bathroom did not work. Called down to desk to have it fixed. They said they would send someone right up. We waited an hour and no one. We left as we had things we wanted to do while we were there. We figured they would fix it while we were gone. Got back late that night and didn't think to check it. Next morning we were getting ready and it was still not fixed. Went down to front desk to talk to them in person. They said they would send someone up (heard that before) but we didn't care ass we were checking out that day. We ask for a discount on room but was not granted one add I booked through hotels.com. I expressed that we were considering staying another night and could we get a discount on another night. They said they would call our room and let us know. They never did. But the repair man did show up to fix the bathroom while we were trying to pack to leave.... Was annoyed by that to. For the money it cost it should have been better experience

This is a really nice hotel in a very good location. The room was modern, clean and not worn. We had more than enough of space. Our kids loved the pool area and because of the low season it was not crowded. The only drawback was that they charged my credit card for incidentals and it took 4 days until I got the money back. Parking is $20, it's a little expensive but with very friendly staff, and because of the location of the hotel I still find this acceptable. The list price shown here looks expensive, we got a more reasonable price when booking through our travel agency.

We spent a week at the La Concha in one of the 2nd floor balcony rooms. The rooms are small but clean and decently furnished. The balcony is nice for sitting out in the evening and watching the show go by. Nice bathroom, fridge, room safe and big screen TV. We found the service to be very friendly and helpful. With the rooms facing Duval Street there is bound to be noise - but nothing that wasn't remedied by a set of earplugs. Great central location. The top of the 7th floor offers a bar and unbeatable view of the nightly sunset. The pool is well maintained and not very busy with a nearby outdoor bar. I'd stay here again if I return to Key West.

My husband and I stayed at this location on Wednesday, May 22 and Thursday May 23 and when we checked in the air conditoner was not working. We were told that it would be working with 4-5 hours. We went out to do some sightseeing and when we arrived back at 6:00 it still was not fixed and it had been almost 6 hours. They then told us that it would be working by the time we got back from our Ghost Tour and once again it was not fixed. We asked for a different room and were told that the entire hotel was having problems. We found out the next day when talking to other guests at the pool that this was not true, that they had perfect air conditioning. When we still did not have air conditioning that night we were told that one night of our stay would not be charged. I just got my credit card statement in the mail and we were charged for both nights! Two separate charges even, so I know it was not simply that they did not take the one night off. When I called the hotel to ask about the issue the lady was not very nice and when I asked that this matter be taken care of as soon as possible she hung up on me. The saga shall continue as we get more information. Hopefully things will improve for them, but somehow I don't think so. As of 6:30 EDST the hotel says they have reversed the charge for the one night. I hope that this is true as I would hate to have to return to this review and state that it hadn't been done. I still say this should never have been a problem.

Great lunch. We came here twice on our visit. Delicious Lobster bisque, fish n chips, and po' boy.

Stream

Washed in the ocean cycle and dried in about 5 minutes by the warm #island breeze. That's called eco-friendly cleaning.

We might have overdone it in the deck department. (It's 3 levels.) We did it for the sun goddess in all of us.
