+Aimee Awanda , +Keith Nelson , and I went dress shopping yesterday. I picked up a fab dress. The crinoline is on it's way. Thanks to everyone who is chipping in to splurge on me. I had so much fun, and I can't wait to wear this dress to the anniversary party!

We're number 1! Wait, what is the prize, frostbite?
Yes, it is cold enough out there for us. It doesn’t even matter where there is — if you live in the United States right now, it’s  probably Polar-vortex-level freezing. But thanks to the Weather

Introduction
I am a whimsical, yet brutally honest person. I spend my free time playing with my dog, watching the world go by from my porch, crocheting, making stained glass art, and reading/watching fantasy and sci-fi. I enjoy being around people who are intelligent and enjoy life.

This is the first optometrist I have gone to where the reception staff and the doctor excel at their jobs. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. I was tested with machines I have never seen before. Once they had my prescription, they followed up to make sure everything was working out. They remembered me when I came back in for additional contact fittings. I can't say enough good things about them. If you are looking for a new eye doctor, go here.

This is a fantastic place! They renovated an old church, and made it into a bar and grill. The bar is built to look like the existing structure of the church. Some of the tables even have to used pews for seating. They have some live music on the weekends. The food is delicious, and there is a great patio. The staff is prompt and friendly. You must stop here if you're in the Fond Du Lac area.

This place is a regular haunt of mine. Their house beers are fantastic, and you can buy growlers to take home. They always have interesting guest taps. Their mixed drinks are also well made and yummy. I love their bloody marys. The fried chicken sandwich is made with a waffle batter and a delicious house-made sauce. It is something you must try. I like almost everything on the menu, but some of my friends think the smoky flavor is too prominent. There is usually a wait around mealtime, sometimes over an hour, so plan ahead. During the summer it is great to have beers on the patio. Also, since the patio is seat yourself, you get to meet people from the neighborhood.

The BBQ meat is delicious. I like the Corn Bread, as well, but most of their sides are a waste of time. There is not any place to eat, so this is a strictly take-out meal.

The service was quick and friendly. My breve was fantastic. The price was reasonable. The colors and log-cabin furniture were cozy, but the Christian music and copious mentions of God was alienating to non-Christians.

I am not a super culinary wizard, and I don’t frequent stores that specialize in kitchen supplies. That being said, this store blew me away! I sought out this store because I needed something specific. I approached the store from the inside of Calhoun Square (there is another entrance from the street). They had a sort of clearance happening out front. Everything was half off, making the prices for a wide variety of items quite affordable. I was able to browse the clearance as I pleased without being hassled by the staff. When I was satisfied I didn’t need any of the clearance items, I walked into the store. Immediately a person asked if I he could help me find anything. He took me directly to what I needed, told me how the display was arranged, and left me to thumb through the items. I found exactly what I was looking for! There was an excellent selection. On my way to the counter, I found an item I was not looking for, but I knew my mom needed. I called her, and she listed off several items she wanted me to pick up. I had my item, lots of items my mom wanted, and my phone in my arms. I told my mom that my hands were full, and I would have to take her there later. Like magic, a different sales person offered me a hand basket with a smile. I graciously unloaded my items. At another point, I told my mom I didn’t know what a thing was. The sales person appeared and answered my question. Granted, he was obviously listening to my conversation, but his help was appreciated. I checked out, and honestly paid less than I expected. The prices are higher than Target, or Walmart, but the items are higher quality. The store prices seemed lower than equal-quality items online.
