She’s well-known for her fashion, travel & subcultures blog, and coverage of bizarre body modifications, especially Japanese bagel heads.

Her popular LaCarmina blog on alt travel, spooky fashion and Japan subcultures has been featured in major media (New Yorker, Time, Washington Post, WWD).
