Just wonderful for our anniversary! Very luxurious in every detail, from the beautiful decor and friendly staff to the incredibly fancy and delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

We spent 3 nights at La Belle Epoque on our honeymoon. 10-1/2 years later we spent another 3 nights there. In the years between, we've stayed at many B&B's and La Belle Epoque remains our favorite. Both times we stayed in the Cabernet room. Jas is doing an amazing job training a new innkeeper. The food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. It's a little bit pricey in general, but very reasonable for Napa. Love this place!

we visited la belle epoque in mid-august. when we pulled up to la belle epoque, i was totally enchanted with their quaint victorian facade and yard. the first thing i noticed was the cute little duck above the wine cellar. when we rang the bell, we were greeted by super friendly staff and escorted to our room (merlot, on the main floor). this room was wonderful because of its proximity to the common living room and dining area. the only thing that threw me off was it was a bit musty smelling when i stepped in but the eclectic victorian decor and extremely clean appearance was able to distract me. the breakfast was totally amazing. it was perfect portions with the perfect combination of a home cooked meal. there was nothing processed about the food and it felt like elegant comfort food. the daily (evenings) wine tastings were a great event that gave us the opportunity to meet the owners and other guests and share experiences, expectations and whatnot. we had a guest pourer from cornerstone wineries. he was great. the room was impeccably clean and the mattress was very comfortable (i slept very well) and the comforters warm and cozy. when we walked in, there was gentle music playing in the background. there was a fire place but a small tv (i suppose i really shouldn't have been watching tv there...). the only things about the room that i didn't like was the vintage photos which gave me an uneasy feeling because i had no relation to those people... they had a guest wine chiller and cookies placed on a cabinet after dinner. there was also self serve coffee and tea. i would have to say that the highlight was their backyard. it was just gorgeous. wonderfully landscaped with a heated gazebo portion and a hammock. very cozy and private. i don't know the area too well but i found it very central to their "downtown" and the restaurants were literally a 10-15 minute walk away. overall, the experience was luxurious and wonderful.

I had a delightful escape at La Belle Epoque for the Thanksgiving weekend. Walking distance from Napa center and all the restaurants. Idling in the living room, reading news paper and sipping port wine. I found the staff friendly and helpful. Exactly what I needed. The breakfast is not the traditional hotel buffet breakfast. At the time it was a 2-course meal served to the table. A new surprise for each morning.

We have been to Napa several times and La Belle Epoch was a tremendous find! The house was beautiful and meticulously maintained, the staff was friendly and set up reservations and tee times for us, the food was great (thanks for the delicious peach cobbler, Sarah!) and the owners, Derrick and Roxanne, were delightful! Every night they host a wine tasting with light appetizers in the "Duck" room that is loads of fun. You can compare experiences with other guests and Derrick made some great suggestions for restaurants. Plus they have beautiful grounds with arbors and fountains and lots of little extras like DVDs and CDs, fridge stocked with water and soda, computer for guest use, etc. that are nice touches. Highly recommend this B and B with no reservations.
