"It's like a whole new world!" Shannon exclaimed as she walked in.
"Surgery went so well. Dr. Wallace was very helpful in calming me down, he would say 'You're doing great,' and counting down for each part of the surgery was really comforting."
Congratulations again!

Paul H. wanted to see effortlessly so before he got LASIK he wore contact lenses you could keep in your eyes for 30 days. Eventually, he got tired of doing that and found out they weren't very good for the eyes. He had heard LASIK cost about $5000-$6000 for both eyes, but when a friend had gotten surgery at LA Sight for $2300, he was happy because it was a lot more doable and within his budget.

"I thought the surgery was actually really cool, there was no pain at all. Dr. Wallace was great and very straightforward, not too technical to the point where I couldn't understand it and I appreciated that."
Enjoy the waves without the contacts Paul! Surf's up

"I had a friend who had LASIK done and she just RAVED about it, BUT for her procedure, it was $5000, she couldn't wear make-up for a week, not even lotion, nothing. It seemed like it was a big commitment, so when my other friend Lauren got it done here, she said it was $2300, AND she went to brunch on Saturday, was able to wear make-up and everything! When I was told it wouldn't impact my work, I thought 'wow, this is amazing!'

The big reason I wanted to get it done was because I'm going on a trip to Hawaii for a week, and every time I take a trip, I think about contacts. 'What if they rip? What if they run out when I'm abroad? How am I going to swim in a pool or scuba dive? What if my contacts get dislodged? I was already thinking about that, so when my friend got it done, it seemed so serendipitous, because the office is only a mile away from me.

It's probably the best decision I've ever made. It's your eyes, you can't overstate how well you want someone to take care of them. This is the most money I've spent on anything besides traveling, but I would spend twice as much as I did with LA Sight to get the same results, but the great part is, I didn't even have to!"
