[new blog post]

If there is one thing that I have learned since changing careers a couple of years back, is that mindset matters! Whether that be in regards to fitness and nutrition or your career, money and relationships.

If your mindset is scattered and your negative nancy voice is turned up higher than your reason, then you are going to find it hard to be wherever it is you want to be or have whatever you want to have.

Who doesn't love pancakes? Especially on a Sunday morning! This weekend I felt like pancakes and decided to try my own recipe to see what it would turn out like and they were delicious.

Pancake goodness with no guilt attached.

True happiness is such a beautiful feeling and something that has taken me years to allow myself to fully feel. To be open to it with outstretched arms and even at times, chase it down.

I know that may sound a little strange, but bear with me a little longer...

Before I got into the wellness industry I used to think that if I felt content and truly happy with my life something bad would happen and take it all away.

Now does this sound familiar?

After a few weeks to get my head around everything that has happened over the past month and beyond, I am ready to share my birth story with you.

My daughter, Ava, came into the world on Thursday 21st May 2015. The skies were overcast and there was a chill in the air letting us know that winter was only around the corner.

Earlier that day I had been relaxing in bed listening to a podcast (She Makes Magic), then did my meditation and had a shower. After my shower I felt so emotional I spent a good 10 minutes crying on my bed...truly sobbing. I had no idea why but I went with it and let the emotion out.

I had been watching Bridget Jones's Diary while eating lunch when something started to happen, something that felt different to the Braxton Hicks contractions that I had been getting for a few weeks.

[new blog post] Be Imperfectly You!

It is nice to be back with my first blog post since giving birth to my baby girl. I have missed writing and connecting with you each and every week, but I will be back in full swing before you know it. In the mean time I will just be writing when things come up for me and I feel they are too good not too share.
This occurred for me over the weekend, I read an email from the lovely Susana Frioni about perfection and how what is portrayed online isn't usually reality.

Everyone has flaws, shitty times and things not going to plan...but these things are usually kept off social media and only the best bits are shared.

Do you find yourself comparing to other people's 'perfect' lives on social media?

How does it make you feel?

[new recipe] Fruit & Nutty Chocolate

It has been a while since I last added a recipe, but today I got experimenting in the kitchen once again. I felt like chocolate but was all out of my usual stash of Loving Earth blocks and with a little bub now it isn't as easy to just 'pop down the street'. So I decided to try my hand at making my own chocolate...and boy is it yummy!!

[new blog post] Can you feel the changes happening?

What a big year it has been already for me and Be Your Radiant Self. It all began with the name change and re-brand, which has been one of the best things I have done for my biz so far. Thank you for the support and love!

+ Has the year skipped along quickly for you too?

+ Have any big lessons or changes happened come up?

I am taking roads I never thought I would travel or ideas that I never thought would become part of my business. But when the universe is telling you and showing you signs, then you need to listen, right?  Absolutely!!
