It's Chrome OS Tip Day Today!

With photos and videos you keep in Google+ Photos now also available¹ in Google Drive, I'd recommend you create a shortcut to this folder directly in the Files app to access them quickly from the navigation pane.

This works for any Google Drive folder by the way. Simply navigate to it, right click on it and select "Create shortcut" to see the shortcut added to the Files App and synchronized across all your Chrome OS devices.

MFW I read that Time Warner "..made upgrade plans well before Google Fiber's announcement."  to just boost everyone's internet speed in Raleigh, NC.

Now, just bring back Google Health so I have a nice place to store all of my data. Please?
There is evidence that letting patients see their medical files helps them take better care of themselves, but the medical establishment still resists sharing the data.

+Kyle Salewski Totally agree. I expected that Google Fit would be kind of Google Health in material design. And I was disappointed to see its functions in the release.

Sneak peak at Chromebit
The ChromeOS on a stick coming this summer
Google just introduced a whole new kind of Chrome OS computer—a dongle that plugs into any HDMI-equipped display. It’s called a Chromebit, and it isn’t your run-of-the-mill streaming stick. For under $100, you’re looking at a full computer that plugs right into your TV.

Derek Ross originally shared:

Amazon Dash Button makes buying products dangerously easy

Who needs the grocery store? Out of laundry detergent? Just tap a button. Used the last garbage bag? Just tap a button.

Amazon will start sending email invitations to select Prime Members with offers to try out the Dash Button, which is limited to 3 per household at this time.

Eventually though, Amazon hopes that product manufacturers can bake this technology into their own hardware: things like coffeemakers, washer, dryers, printers, pet food dispensers, and more.

one problem I've seen with the mobile (and on the web) is that the "1 new / 2 new / 1 new" notifications go away if you just click on the tab. It used to stick around if there were any 'unread' emails. I liked that better.

Was here just a few weeks ago and had a great time. We had a blast playing ping-pong and pool and were even more excited to see Green Bay Packers items all over and even a Packers game on one of the TVs! Being a Packer fan from Wisconsin this was a great find for us. Our entire group loved it there. Great service.

Amazing customer service. GREAT food. Adults only. All inclusive. You can't go wrong. I stayed here with my wife for our honeymoon Jan 28th - Feb 5th and we had a fantastic stay. From the moment we got there until the moment we left the staff was always helpful, friendly, and happy to help us with any request that we had. Usually the food at an all inclusive is sub-par, but not here. Every dish we had was delicious. We had access to the club level lounge since we had a suite. We ate breakfast there every morning and our server, Daniel, was the nicest guy ever. Waiting on us hand and foot and recommending different things to try and making cappuccinos and drinks for us. The pools were great as well. Every day they had a "chef parade" as we called it down by the pool where all the servers would come out with dozens of plates full of food and just hand them out to everyone in the pool area. They also had a BBQ buffet every afternoon out by the pool that was delicious. Jorge, Jamie, and Aminal who worked down there were top notch. Taking care of us all the time and were a lot of fun to talk to. The beach was a good spot to hangout all day with nice soft sand, plenty of chairs and even beds to lay down on. The cabanas were nice as well and came with 20 minute foot massages each day. We loved how you could walk out in the ocean about 50 feet with the depth only being about 2-3 feet deep in the main area by the hotel. Our suite was very nice with a living area and a bedroom area. It had two balconies. The only thing I can even slightly complain about is that the TV in our suite was pretty small (32in?) and considering the bed in our suite was 15ft away from the TV, it wasn't the best thing to watch late at night. But we were in Cancun, on the beach, so we shouldn't have been watching TV anyways :) We will most likely be returning to Live Aqua in the future since we had such a great time. Thanks again Live Aqua!

One of the best custard spots in the area. Make sure to keep up with all the different flavors they have throughout the month, there are a ton of good ones. They have some good burgers and onion rings as well. Nice place to sit down and enjoy a good old fashioned meal at a reasonable price.

I frequent this JJ's quite a bit and they are always fast and friendly. Never have any issues with them at all and the inside is always clean and well taken care of. I get sandwiches delivered pretty often as well from this location and they are always very quick with the delivery and friendly when coming to the door. I'd recommend this JJ's to anyone.

If you want to grab a beer and some food but also play a variety of games, this is the place to be. The back of J&B's is huge. They have a mini bowling alley, video games, pop-a-shot basketball, areas setup for beanbag toss, and a lot more. The front bar of the bar is newly remodeled and has a great look to it. I have always had decent service here as well. Fun place to hang out with a large group of people.

This Taco Bell always has friendly service. The staff is always very nice and polite. They get your food to you fast too so you are never waiting long. The store is always clean and in order every time I have been there. One of the better Taco Bell's I have been to.
