The U.S. Senate has made it official: Climate change is not a hoax.
As part of the long debate on the Keystone XL pipeline, the Senate voted overwhelmingly Wednesday for an amendment that aimed to answer once and for all whether senators believe the climate is changing.
Carriers need to look like this in the future.
83% of Americans think it's a serious problem for the World if nothing is done on climate change.
67% of Americans are less likely to vote for a candidate that thinks climate change is a hoax.
While Americans know climate change isn't going to help them, they have no idea if it will hurt them either.
My guess - this lack of personal connection is why we aren't getting things done yet.

An overwhelming majority of the American public, including nearly half of Republicans, support government action to curb global warming, according to a poll conducted by The New York Times, Stanford University and the nonpartisan environmental research group Resources for the Future.
In a finding that could have implications for the 2016 presidential campaign, the poll also found that two-thirds of Americans say they are more likely to vote for political candidates who campaign on fighting climate change. They are less likely to vote for candidates who question or deny the science of human-caused global warming.
