Wow, they actually convicted this kid of disorderly conduct, yet the teenage tyrants received no punishment. What kind of message is this sending?

Wow, she's headed for big things!
As extreme sports go bigger and bigger, their athletes are getting younger and younger. Sabre Norris, a 9-year-old from New South Wales, Australia, just landed her first 540 air on a halfpipe.

Awesome!

There may be no end to selfies. This one is pretty impressive!
A British travel company boss has taken the art of the selfie to new heights, when he got rare permission to climb to the top of Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer statu, and, once there, took a picture of himself sticking out of the statue’s head.

Photographer Robert X. Fogarty's latest project in his "Dear World" message-on-skin portrait series focuses on survivors of the Boston Marathon bombings. In late 2013, Fogarty met Dave Fortier, who sustained injuries while running the marathon. Through Fortier, Fogarty asked several survivors to return to the finish line to take "Dear World" portraits. The subjects determined their own messages. Here is a sampling of the portraits; the full series is at Dear World.
