Computer Scientist. Vegetarian. Homebrewer. Musician.
Introduction
I'm a Googler and a computer scientist whose dissertation was on coordinating autonomous vehicles at intersections. I've been a vegetarian since 2004 for basically all the reasons except flavor and religion. I play the guitar and am a music lover with a very eclectic collection. I also like to run, make my own beer, use American Sign Language, and play with my kids.
Bragging rights
Have 2 kids and survived 7.5 years of graduate school. You can trust me, I'm a doctor.

Bitter Pils To Swallow
Homegrown Mt. Hood hops. It's Pilsner time. In fact, it might be late for Pilsner time. But I made one anyway, because my wife likes 'em, and because I don't know how else to get rid of all these Mt. Hood hops I grew last year. A friend of mine had asked me...

So I overshot the OG on my Pils by 6 points. I just racked it to secondary today and it attenuated down to 1.009, 3 points below the target FG. This is going to be a burly Pils. 5.9%. I guess it's good I erred on the side of over-bittering.

Sorry about the blood blister. There's another cardio sport I've heard of that doesn't involve injuries like that.

An amazing buffet of VEGAN Thai food! Kids under 4 are free and they even brought us some sliced mango for the little ones, which was some of the best mango I've ever had.

Some excellent vegetarian options including a butternut squash enchilada, and some excellent tamales. Flan was also quite good.
