"Without a doubt I feel stronger but there are weakness like grip strength, overall pressing strength, ability to do higher volume of pull ups.
At Kura I have my own program that has prioritized what I need, regular CrossFit wasn't giving me that..."

When you think about your fitness goals, the question that you need to ask is whether or not you are achieving your highest fitness priorities or if you are spinning your wheels.

IMUA | You Move Foreword


Taken from the last paragraph of my eulogy to my Mom.
I was angry these past few weeks because people around me were happy, laughing, carrying on with their lives.
Why are you being disrespectful?
Don't you know my Mom died?
Then I realized that they were just living their lives. They were enjoying their loved ones, letting life happen.
A good friend that knew what I was going through told me, there is no timeline for mourning. There are no guidelines. It's okay to be sad. It's okay to miss her. Remember her. Talk about her to anyone who will listen. Don't ignore it. Don't push it off. Be in the moment. Then go on with living. Because that is what Mom would do and that's definitely what she would want us to do. Let's celebrate her life by living ours to the fullest.
Live like Mom!

We don't do transformations, we just put the work in.
"I initially came to Crossfit KURA with the intention of working on my abs and getting muscle definition.
In the past three months I went from not being able to do a push up or pull up to strict pressing over 100# and doing weighted pull ups. The abs and muscle definition have since come as a result of work I put in.

MEN COMMUNE

If you're up for adventure, a good sweat and a cold beer, this day is just for you.


SATURDAY JUNE 20TH, 9-11AM. 
CROSSFIT KURA WILL BE HOSTING IT'S FIRST MEN COMMUNE
The purpose of this event is to provide our men and their friends an opportunity to experience the competition setting and simply throw down on some workouts with their buddies.

(Let's call it a day pre-father's day, you don't have to have a kid day)


This event will be geared toward first time and mid-level athletes.
Workouts: There will be three workouts. Workouts will be scalable and challenging for all.
If you are not a current member of the gym but are interested in beginning training with us, this event will be a great opportunity! We'd love to have you either way.
