Moltin raises $2M for its ecommerce platform to challenge Shopify and Magento
In the ecommerce world, there’s a flurry of activity around startups eager to increase adoption of their services. A lot more focus was placed on conversion rate optimisation by ecommerce managers and all major technology providers announced either ecommerce specific features or products dedicated to online retail. Here is a summary of some major announcements: The new Apple TV supports online shopping usi...

The UK is closing all of its coal power stations

I booked a portrait photo session with John a few week ago. He came over to my office, set up his equipment and started snapping. What sets John apart from other portrait photographers I have worked with in the past is the speed at which he put me at ease. I was initially a bit nervous and stiff but John put me at ease by having conversations with me that got a varied mix of natural expressions from me. He managed to capture almost every expression I had to offer - I didn't know I could look good smiling! He comes in highly recommended for portraits - go ahead and book him!

Horrible new manager - impersonal & cold. Asked me for ID after I gave my priority membership card. I have been a regular customer for 2 year & they treated me like a complete stranger. Shame the direction the Headington brand is going.
