Another month, another Quantum Mechanics book to read. Can you believe Leonard Susskind was a plumber by trade before the famed battle with Stephen Hawking?

I must have seen this video two handful of times since it was first posted last year. Col. Chris Hadfield, commander, space pioneer, musician, (and may I add one of the coolest Canadian I know,) covering David Bowie's 'Space Oddity,' in space, onboard the ISS (International Space Station)

Had to go to unlock bootloader first, then no problem running CyanogenMod Installer. Very happy that now I'm running 4.4.2!

After working with the guys at CCC on an emergency kind of case, I have to say they are pretty awesome. They were very courteous, worked on the car promptly, and there were no outrageous or questionable charges on the receipt. I would recommend them.

I can honestly say I think I love sushi more than life itself; for one thing, without nourishment, there is no life, and sushi, with its colorful arrangement and presentation, to the delightful taste of seafood mixed with sweet, salty, sour and spicy sauce, could nourish both your body and mind. Okay, maybe it is not that miraculous, but the sushi here at Mura is worth the wait, and waiting you will. Mura is tucked away among the fashion clothiers and movie theater and other casual/fine dining places, and when all the fashion trendsetters are done shopping for the night, or the normally home-bound couple sneaking some alone time away from the younglings, they find themselves in Mura, because Mura can be that romantic dating dinner spot, or a group sushi night using one of those traditionally set party rooms. All the staffs here are very friendly and attentive, especially if you have to wait 30-45 minutes for your table. Did I mention you will have to wait? But don't fuzz over that too much, otherwise you will miss one great meal. The sushi rolls are neat and tight, the flavors are great no matter which ones you get, and the sashimi were pretty fresh tasting too. If you are a fan of sushi rolls, try catching Sunday Special, buy one roll get one half off. Guarantee you walk out of there wishing you stop at getting just two rolls!

This is a Euro pub, not to be confused with gastropub; you aren't getting no Beef Wellington, nor fish and chips any fancier than Cod and hand cut fries. What you do get is just good old-fashioned pub grubs, like loaded tater skins and fried pickles and burgers and sandwiches, added some "Euro" flavors like Sheppard's pie or, Schnitzel and German sausage plate. As noted as well by some of my fellow reviewers, over the years I think they got quite complacent. The food is somehow the same and different at the same time, at least in taste; and if you are not "in the know" with bartenders and waitresses, be in a wait and a test of patience. I know they are currently under renovation, which I think is much needed, with missing roof tiles and cracked walls and all; what I hope is that, with brand new re-opening they can also renovate their services a little.

Nowadays, Sushi Blues has bought into the whole BOGO culture, and no longer would I have to stand hungrily while waiting for a table. Nope. Not true. Turns out Sushi Blues is still quite popular, and you still have to wait for tables during peak hours, mainly because of its prime location on S. Glenwood: shopping, workout, dessert, beers and sports on giant LCD-TV, all within walking distance. The quality and quantity and variety of sushi is definitely good, the mood is not too trendy, but not really dive-y. What I think make this place packed weekly is probably the fact it's a Sushi-Bar. I mean, it is literally a sushi restaurant and a bar, full stocked; so even if you are not too fond of raw fish and rices, Sushi Blues can still be another stop for drinks.

Millbrook Exchange Park (or Exchange Park or Millbrook Park, whichever people like to call it) is located off Spring Forest Rd, and put you in between two different kinds of crowd: Millbrook High School and North Ridge Country Club. I come here, lately for the pool facility, since it's close to the dive shop, and since it's community facility everyone in my class has easy access to it. However, since it is a community pool, and being so close to the school, most of the time you will find swim meets and young swimmer training classes, so the ratio of swimmers under 6 years old and swimmers over 6 years old can be overwhelmingly large. I also came to the dog park here once. Like most public dog parks there is a separation between the small breed area and larger breed area. My dogs are tiny but very sociable, so if I come here and the only other dogs are in the large breed area, I would take mine over there, but constantly keeping my eyes on them just to be sure they will be safe. Exchange Park also have a recreation center, and a community center that offer some classes like painting, or I heard they even offer canine obedience training as well.

I first came to Dr Arrick office because I had a terrible crack in my old filling and need quick work on repairs, but I have stayed with the office since for any filling, crowning and cleaning. Always top notch service, and more than accommodating with my reschedules. I have never been told "You have to get this, you have to fix that" any work done (and when) is always on my own choice. I would definitely recommend to all my friends.
