Facebook Revenge Site Raises Over $650,000

After being screwed by Facebook ( http://daltoncaldwell.com/dear-mark-zuckerberg ), Dalton Caldwell launched a Kickstarter campaign to start App.net, a "real-time social feed without the ads."

(What, you mean like Google+?)

Anyway, with less than 20 hours remaining, Caldwell has raised more than $650,000.

App.net is supported by users paying $50 per year, which is why it will never be anything other than an underpopulated exclusive little club of like-minded elites who all live in wealthy countries.

Still, it's nice to see high-visibility exposure of Facebook's dark side.
