Man, I love Google! This is why location data is useful!

Do you ever find yourself trying to avoid long lines or wondering when is the best time to go grocery shopping, pick up coffee or hit the gym (hint: avoid Monday after work)? You’re in luck!

Now, you can avoid the wait and see the busiest times of the week at millions of places and businesses around the world directly from Google Search. For example, just search for "Blue Bottle Williamsburg", tap on the title and see how busy it gets throughout the day. Enjoy your extra time!

I like some of these separations they're talking about. Even the profiles thing. I have a couple of accounts that are work related, and I don't necessarily want people finding those profiles on G+, but I might want to still use Hangouts with those email addresses. I'm curious to see how far this goes.

Good point, and I thought about adding that option, especially for use with Chromecast, too. But in the end, most stat providers see that as an RSS download.

69% of the visits abandoned our page. These users neither went to the app store nor continued to our mobile website.

In other words nobody likes app download interstitials, so stop.

I have one that I try to keep up with, but the others often wait more than a week.

Dropdowns Should be the UI of Last Resort
by Luke Wroblewski July 17, 2015

All too often mobile forms make use of dropdown menus for input when simpler or more appropriate controls would work better. Here's several alternatives to dropdowns to consider in your designs and why.

Today's mood.
Think of these progressive instrumentals as the ultimate "temp tracks" -- that is, the music used during the editing phase of a film production to set the mood for a scene. Great for budding indie filmmakers and soundtrack enthusiasts.
