Strangely serendipitous as I had literally just uninstalled this app on my MacBook less than an hour ago because it was acting buggy and was frustrating to use. This is much better!

New version of Hangouts Chrome App is out. Give it a try, especially if use Mac OSX. You can try the new stuff on Windows/ChromeOS/Linux as well - disable the transparent mode under settings.

Well, I got the Android Wear 5.1.1 update on my LG G Watch R. Too bad LG decided to not enable the WiFi on it! Would have been nice to know about this before I purchased the watch back in December.

If it's any consolation, I still haven't got the update at all.

Sharing on Google+ in case anyone here can help.
Since it seems that Google doesn't want to bring proper group MMS support to Google Voice/Hangouts, I think I want to port my Google Voice number to my Sprint account and then use the Google's Messenger app for SMS/MMS. If I do that, can I still use the Google Voice + Sprint integration for ...

I don't think this counts as a spoiler, but there should have been an Ant Man after-credits scene at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron to bring Ant Man into the ongoing story and act as a handoff to that film.

What's weird is that my 2012 GSM Nexus 7 just updated to 5.1.1 today, but my N5 is still reporting no upgrade available.

Collection are here!

Introducing Google+ Collections, a new way to group your posts by topic

Our happiest Google+ users are those who connect with others around shared interests and passions. So we set out to give people a place to express the things they love. Today, we’re announcing Google+ Collections, a new way to group your posts by topic.

Every collection is a focused set of posts on a particular topic, providing an easy way for you to organize all the things you’re into. Each collection can be shared publicly, privately, or with a custom set of people. Once you create your first collection, your profile will display a new tab where other people can find and follow your collections.

Posts in collections you follow will appear in your Home stream, with a link to easily jump right into the collection so you can get to similar content from that author. Collections give you a great way to find more of the stuff you love from the people you follow.

Collections is available on Android and the web, and iOS is coming later. For Android users, make sure to update your Google+ app to get access to Collections.

For inspiration on interesting topics, check out our Featured Collections page here: g.co/collections

Create your collections today and share what you love.
