Ok, so here’s the thing, kiddos. I’m moving. Well, not me.  But the site is moving. I mean, you’ll not really notice much difference unless you get your updates via push to social media… that might take a little bit to get sorted back out.  See, I started…

Dudes, I’m working on this.  I am.  Other things (read that PAYING THINGS) have gotten in the way, so please don’t mind me if I get back to you later.  I think I’ll unpublish it and republish with the three or so extra sections that belong with it later…

I’m putting together a little blog series to help you get your blog up and running because you guys seriously fucking suck at it.  I’m not kidding.  Deep down, you’ll know if you need the help — and if you think you don’t, I can assure you that you do….…

It’s a day early, but I’m kicking off NaPoWriMo anyway.  Check out the poetry archive I’m building up under the menu thingy.  Click the orange button with the three lines and you’ll find a link. YEEHAW!

You sweet little motherfuckers might have noticed my absence the last few weeks — that wasn’t because of something you did, though I’d love to blame it on you.  Really, I would.  But, unfortunately, even assholes need a chance to reflect sometimes.…

I know a perfectly lovely lady who is a digital copywriter.  She works her butt off all the time, and she’s constantly tired and stressed.  I happen to know she’s very talented, but she neglects self-care.  And self-care is one of the most vital parts of…

So, I might have lied to you a little bit.  Tiny, little teeny itty bit.  But if it helps any, I didn’t realize I was doing it at the time.  That is to say, I was in denial, so I don’t think that’s the same as lying.  Anyway, whatever it is, you’re still…

Entire books have been written on developing content, so don’t expect that I’m going to be able to give you a full run down in a fucking blog, ok?  Ok.  Now that we have that settled… One of the biggest problems with running a blog is keeping the content…

The world goes by beats — the sound of rain on the roof, the clicking of the subway train, the rhythmic beating of the heart… if you listen closely you’ll hear it.  Some beats are regular, some are irregular, but they’re always there.  Those beats inspire…

Hi.  Me again.  After waking up from a winter-long stupor, I realized that it was almost NaPoWriMo.  It’s one of my favorite times of the year.  I know that probably doesn’t make much sense, considering how much I loathe NaNoWriMo (seriously, bro, that’s…

I love the English language, in a way that I don’t think most people really appreciate.  I love it for its weirdness, for its tricky rules and for how you can learn the basics fairly quickly, but it will literally take a lifetime to truly understand.  For…

My goal with the WaterworthWrites blog was to help writers learn how to push themselves and improve their skills, but once in a while I just don’t have anything to say.  Today’s one of those days… and I’m sure you have days like this, too.  My blogging…

We stopped in off the highway during a road trip. The food was fine, but I was very annoyed that they couldn't take plastic and didn't bother to mention this until we went to pay. So... A sign that says "cash only" would be helpful. We were running on credit cards and would have been in seriously huge trouble if the bill had been any larger since we don't typically do cash out on our cards (and thus don't know the PINs). Food was another issue. It was definitely on par with fare in bigger cities. No complaints, but keep in mind that if you're used to eating in a bigger city, the menu is smaller. It has all the basics, plus a grill menu, which is cool.
