Dear Manufacturers, please stop already with silly looking stickers on your devices. Thank you Googone..no more silly stickers on my CB. Except for the intel one but I can live with that one.

+Gabriel Walsh the new asus chromebox shows up as coming soon as well on best buys site. Very interested in it as it seems extremely straight forward to upgrade ram and ssd. I am thinking of getting one and possibly dual booting with linux to replace my htpc.

Is there any way to use chrome OS to stream media from a NAS? I would totally replace my HTPC with this chromebox if i could. +JR Raphael did an awesome hands on article and reported that RAM and SSD is upgradeable. Good buy for $179 but if acer can package similar specs for 199 in a chromebook factor, wonder if this could have been cheaper since items like lcd and keyboard, trackpad and speakers are omitted.

The appeal of the micro USB charger on the HP 11 has been somewhat lost for me. The official charger is 5.25V at 3A. Looks like my Anker 15000mah battery outputting at 5V and 2A is only good for charging while the chrome book is turned off. It's still convenient as heck though.

+Krish Singh yeah, it would be nice if they made a 3amp external battery!

It won't be a cause for concern. Your phones and tablets are only designed to receive for an example, 2amps. So they will only take in the 2amps from the 3amp charger.

Putting the Toshiba Chromebook through its paces. Perfect size and weight sweet spot. Screen looks decent and touchpad is responsive. Keyboard is somewhat shallow and my least favorite part of this chromebook.

I am totally enjoying my Toshiba.  I've had it a week now.  Keyboard is okay but the trackpad is horrid.  As a long time Mac (laptop) user, I'm spoiled when it comes to trackpad perfection.

Refurb c720's from acer on ebay for $180. Not sure if it worth saving $20 to buy refurb but thought i would share it anyway.

I don't know, I think Chromebooks on the secondary market are far too expensive, they ought to be half RRP. I don't really understand why anyone would pay for scratches and wear and tear, when a new machine is just 10, 20 more. At this price point I think the discounts for secondary selling should be deep.

I'd happily pay 100 or just over for that, unhappily or not at all anything higher. But I guess it's worth what someone pays for it.

Seeing Win 8 tabs like the dell venue 8 pro and the Lenovo MIx2 8 rock the new Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3740 chip makes me wonder if we may ever see a revised HP 11 with the bay trail chip. Imagine it would be faster than ARM and still keep the fanless design.

Do we have a ball park figure of how much the yoga CB may cost?

Came across SSautopower on different forums while looking for a good shop that could roll my cars rear fenders so that tires won't rub. All the comments were positive so i tried the shop. The owner was downright friendly, informative and was very hands on and knowledgeable. The results spoke for themselves. Highly impressed with the quality of the work and needless to say there is no rubbing anymore. The owner, Dee, took the time out of his busy schedule to take a good 10 min test drive afterwards. This was close to 5pm when other guys would be more concerned about closing for the day. Lots of high end cars came in while i was there sporting the ssautopower logo, it was a good sign because that meant these guys were happy customers who kept coming back. Recommend this guy and his shop with no reservations.

I found this shop on Craigs list and called them up as their prices were very competitive. Ended up buying rims and 4 tires when all i needed was one tire! Very good inventory and a great selection along with the owners willing to go the extra mile to help out. They helped in changing the rims a few times to make sure that what i got would not rub and would be safe to drive around on. Plus i got the tires that i wanted for the best price that i have ever paid for them. All in all, i would highly recommend these guys to anyone over bigger stores that sell the same stuff for much higher prices. Bigger stores have higher overheads and pass that cost along to the customers. A smaller family owned business like this is able to give very competitive pricing for great product along with great one on one customer service.
