Be careful what goal definitions is used in the reports. I had to use calculated metrics on USA segments to define the correct goal definition

A recent SEO structure change on a client website, with rich keyword (non spammy) urls result after a month. All metrics shows a positive increased based on the GA standard reports and from the custom report the sales per month generated on volume vs traffic shows better conversion rate.

No significant increase in back links, no social media, no content... just optimising on the user signals. Plain old optimising the architecture * usability

With the architecture exercise when implemented correctly should provide positive metrics increase. but when it is not implemented correctly could backfire and cause real damage.

Few will want to go that route by re-engineering their architecture. I gotta admit its a hard thing to do. Its a big risk if not implemented correctly, but if the architecture is implemented correctly backed up with quality content, it ought to be a competitive advantage.
