How much time remains until there are more Sunday golfers than Sunday church goers?

Last year nearly 1,600 people gave up US citizenship, up from 1,485 in 2010, 731 in 2009, and 226 in 2008.
Life was so much simpler just a quarter of a century ago....

Me like it very much although I would like to hear a different voice than Paul MCartney.

Meh or yeh? What do you think of Natalie Portman & Johnny Depp signing in the song? I think it's cool!

The evening prior to the Grammy's I was watching Piers Morgan on CNN interviewing Clive Davis and Jennifer Hudson. And Clive announcing Hudson as the next Whitney Huston.
Not that Whitney Houston was a performer I would listen to, far from it, just not my cup of tea.
But I thought that must hurt one's feeling, hearing on the airwaves so and so is to be the next you.

Then just got this tweet from Piers Morgan :
"Excellent analysis of the most likely cause of Whitney Houston's troubled mind " http://t.co/r8U0WGIw

Food for thoughts.

Excellent, really worth reading.

The first two industrial revolutions made people richer and more urban. Now a third revolution is under way. Manufacturing is going digital. This could change not just business, but much else besides. The factory of the future will focus on mass customisation-and may look more like those weavers' cottages than Ford's assembly line http://econ.st/JwRAd5
THE first industrial revolution began in Britain in the late 18th century, with the mechanisation of the textile industry.

Nailed it right, this editorial by Tim Staermose :

So much for Warren Buffet's assertion that gold is just a silly cube that doesn't pay any yield.
It's ironic that places like Vietnam are considered poor, backward, and undeveloped by the West... and yet it's precisely these same people who are smart enough to culturally reject worthless government-issued paper currency in favor of something that is naturally scarce and lacks counterparty risk.

What a picture, a moving moment.

Chilling photo: Empty chairs were laid out in Sarajevo today in honour of the 11,541 people killed in the city during the Bosnian war which began exactly 20 years ago.
The seats were left empty in memory of the victims of the 44-month Serb siege of the city. Hundreds of the chairs are small representing the children slain in the conflict
