Anti-Tesla Motors states win 2014 Luddite Award

Looks like Magic Leap has some competition!
Has Microsoft suddenly pushed us into the age of "Star Trek" and "Minority Report"? For those confused about what's actually going on with the company's new head-mounted gadget, here's the rundown.

Very cool.

We need to be aware of opening Pandora's box. Liken this to people living in a far away in remote trailer parks. Many off them are hidden far away from sight on purpose. Lol

What if they are like mankind; The kind of man that destroys what the do not understand in fear of what we might do to them.

Honestly, they should fear man. Not the ones intelligent enough to travel the universe without leaving the ground, but the ones running everything into the ground. The leaders of this world should be feared, not from sheer might but rather sheer ignorance and stupidity based on ego.

Only hope if and when, if they are not already here. Can help those of us that see beyond the ego and help us evolve into a higher species. Higher than just material driven beings looking for the quick fix.

I see Isis like that of what happened tens of thousands of years ago, wiping out all history of our existence, just like the ancient civilizations before us.

Perhaps mankind is destined to repeat history. Perhaps that's what we are meant to do...over and over and over again until we get it right. If...we ever get it right.

Time will tell. Maybe?

Orwellian TV's have arrived.

Privacy Warning!
Samsung TV sets 'listen' to every conversation held in front of them and may share any details they hear with Samsung or third parties. Privacy campaigners said Samsung technology smacked of telescreens, in George Orwell's 1984, which spied on citizens.

Samsung is warning people to avoid discussing personal information in front of their smart television set.

Whether they were listening or not, the camera on the smart TVS were hacked a few years ago. It's just crazy. Now, when will we start watching the watchers.......

Nissan RR service center. I needed a recall service done. I called in and made an appointment. I called in and confirmed the appointment. I get there, taking off time from work, and the service department says the technician is busy all day. I indicate I have an appointment, and they say the scheduling desk doesn't know if a tech is available. Really Nissan RR? Really? It is the 21st century get your act together! Unbelievable! - P.S. Navigating to the service center in their parking lot is like going into Dante's 5th circle of hell.

Bought a new home at the end of 2011. So far I have had to repair the roof due to poor installation, have the HVAC fixed twice (in proper wiring.), and fix then replace the water heater due to in proper installation. Additionally when purchasing the home they never finished all of the paint and repairs that were requested. The doors not hung correctly and countless other repairs I have made to this new home. They damaged our irrigation system and have not do anything about it. Bad company and brand.

I love Mercedes-Benz and their products. I have been a consumer of MB for a long time. MB of Austin almost shook that love right out of me. They come right out of a past era of uninformed consumers and sleazy sales dealers; a pre-internet artifact, whose existence is to pump money from those who do not care about value. They have not adapted at all to the new savvy consumer, transparent service, and customer experience model. We went into the dealership looking for a C300 they had listed online. Now if you like a place that does comes and helps you as you walk in this is not the place for you. I personally liked that aspect since I do not like to be hassled until I am ready. Some take offense to this: just be aware. We were eventually helped by Ray Terranella after asking for help. Now we are just looking at the C250 and just asked a few minor questions. He thought that is what we were interested in so he proceeded to BS us immediately and relentlessly. Saying things like Mercedes is only making 4 cylinder engines now. As soon as he learned we were interested in the C300 he dropped the 4 cylinder talk. There were too many lies to list, but many features, like AWD he claimed the C300 had but did not. We wanted a 4-matic AWD C300. It just made my skin crawl - I wanted to get out of there and go somewhere else. The price was way over blue book as all their prices are. They just played games with us until we left. A few days later they lowered the price online to the blue book price. The price that refused us: Hilarious! They always had a bad reputation way back in the 1980's and 1990's. Nothing has really changed except the rest of the world. If you want what you want, are looking at the high end models, do not care about paying a premium, and do not care about sales personnel being respectful and honest, then perhaps they are okay. However if you want high quality, plus a good price, because you care about value and money: then DO NOT go to Mercedes-Benz of Austin!

They installed the water heater in our new home 3 years ago. Improper installation has caused it to first leak then go out completely. I am not sure how they stay in business. I guess they have contracts with builders. I am going to complain to DR Horton.
