Rosh Chodesh Av and the beginning of the Nine Days. Stay tuned for dairy recipes!
On the one hand it's Rosh Chodesh, on the other hand it marks the beginning of the 9 days. It's also the Yahrzeit of Aharon HaKohen

I had a goodlaugh reading and singing these Passover poems! Set to the tunes of some of you favorite melodies, these poems help chase away the Monday morning, back to work blues!
(sung to the tune of "There's no Business like Show business"). by Rabbi Dan Liben There's no seder like our seder, There's no seder I know. Everything about it is halachic Nothing that the Torah won't allow. Listen how we read the whole Haggadah It's all in Hebrew 'Cause we know how.

Wishing everyone an easy and meaningful fast!
One difference: The time from sunset on Shabbat until the end of Shabbat is an intermediate period of time when it is forbidden to eat, but on the other hand, noticeable signs of mourning are also prohibited. See the others below.
