This Saturday spend part of your Family Day weekend with Juliet Malevolent and her very odd family and friends found in Juliet Malevolent… An Evil Tale.

Contrary to its title, this funny children's tale emphasizes positive messages like the importance of “being yourself”, “building self-confidence” and the power of one person to “make a difference”. It is written by award-winning, Jamaican-Canadian writer, Peta-Gaye Nash, who will share the story on Saturday, February 18, 2017, from 2 to 4 pm at Knowledge Bookstore, 177 Queen St. West in Brampton.

Poetic Diary of a Bleeding Heart (Essence Publishing), is an honest, heartfelt, self-help memoir set to be released March 2016. Author, Simone Walsh speaks with a raw approach of her experience in battling depression, as well as personal experiences of other survivors.
This is a compelling and deep approach for people of all ages in today’s world who have been or know someone battling a mental illness. The book covers a wide-range of emotions felt from this life-threatening illness.

Important topics are written poetically, for teenagers, young adults, men, and women who struggle with suicide, self-acceptance, lack of confidence, eating disorders, experiences of bullying or harassment, or a broken heart.

A true eye opener, thought provoking and a stunning breakthrough, Poetic Diary of a Bleeding Heart offers a range of hardship experiences when captured by the wrath of a stigma that takes faith and courage to overcome.
