Another abomination based on the idea that people no longer have the mental capacity to tie knots
That's right, it's a couple of windsor knot shaped woggles for your custom short neckerchief.  Really, if you're already in that "what's the point" boat, why would you not just buy a clip-on?  Especially if you're going with the boring windsor knots vs the new fun variants that are gaining popularity (http://www.shirtsmyway.com/articles/different-ways-how-to-tie-a-tie-knots.php).  Also, if you're going to invent something then why not make something actually new like the shoulder silks mentioned in +Daniel Keys Moran's Emerald Eyes or the like?

How to turn standard type square grid pan chang/mystic knots into octagonal weave
Step by almost 100 steps, hubo5563 shows you how first tie a modified square grid pan chang with a few extra lumps then transform it into the traditional chair seat octagonal weave.
http://bbs.zhongguojie.org/thread-78940-1-1.html

I did some searching, figuring that there must be a specific name for this weave, but this site (http://www.royalchaircaning.com/chair-caning-patterns/) says "six way cane pattern."

This one doesn't seem to have a name for it at all, other than chair caning (http://www.wickerwoman.com/articles/chair-caning-instructions)

In Japanese it seems to be called "yatsume" weave (http://temaribarb.blogspot.ca/2011/01/weaving-designs-for-fill.html).

Small gallery of macramé set stone cabochon  jewelry
With closeups of each individual piece as well (http://bbs.zhongguojie.org/thread-79317-1-1.html).  I particularly like the grey pendant with red accents.  Simple but effective.

Since this is a gallery post, I'll go back for some individual pieces, three of very similar design, but sort of fit with these.

Nifty tassel head (hood?)
The post (http://bbs.zhongguojie.org/thread-79185-1-1.html) is from someone asking how this is done, hence the one picture, no instructions.  In the comments, someone says that it is a pan chang/mystic knot folded over.  It's possible, I suppose, although I see no corners or seams that would support that idea.  Plus I'm sure that machine translation of the key idea of "fold" is a term prone to misinterpretation...

Chinese knot bridge
Because it's red and mildly interlaced and (here's the interesting part from a Western perspective) because of the cultural cachet of decorative knots they're calling this the "Chinese knots" bridge.  But, maybe it's not cachet per se, maybe it's some sort of cultural short hand?

How to tie paired rows of ice flower knots
Although the title of the post says that these are tooth knots, they are posted in the ice flower knot sub-group, and look very much like ice flower knots... (http://bbs.zhongguojie.org/thread-79287-1-1.html)

Lovely macramé set drop pendant
I thought about re-editing the previous post to include this one, but I think it deserves its own post so that you can see the picture(s).   I suspect the graceful scrolling macramé would make a nice necklace on its own without the drop pendant but it does all go together very well.

How to macramé this four leaf clover
Normally, macramé instructions tend to just show process photos of the work at various stages with the completed stitches.  Occasionally they'll show a stitch in progress (clearly, nice and big).  Here, the stitches in progress are half tightened in ultra close-up and very confusing to me (figure 8?  cross knot?  lark's head??) but looking at the finished results, plus a comment about macramé (in the comments 8-) restores my confidence that this is a macramé work...
