Ilaz is excited to thank all of his generous lenders for his second Kiva loan, which has allowed him to renovate his house. He was able to replace his roof, doors and windows to prepare his home for the extremely cold Kosovo winter.

They say the way to the heart is through the stomach, and that’s doubly true when it’s delicious, nourishing food made by a Kiva borrower. They work hard every day to feed their families and their communities, so we are working hard this week to show our Loan Love!
Help us fund 1,400 borrowers by February 14th! http://ow.ly/ILiAY

Empower people around the world with a $25 loan
Introduction
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of microfinance institutions, Kiva lets individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world.

We envision a world where all people - even in the most remote areas of the globe - hold the power to create opportunity for themselves and others.

We believe providing safe, affordable access to capital to those in need helps people create better lives for themselves and their families.
