Long exposure of the Leura Cascades, Blue Mountains.

The series of waterfalls are a real beauty. Definitely worth the trip, and cant wait to go back to explore the area more.

Exploring far north Queensland's Daintree Rainforest. This shot was taken on my recent diving trip to Port Douglas. This surrounding area is packed with cool little day trips for any time spent out of the water.

While the rest of the east coast was getting rained out over the long weekend, we were able to explore the Blue Mountains in sunshine. Here's a shot of the iconic Three Sisters. #australia #bluemountains #newsouthwales #landscapephotography

I hope you all had a great weekend!

This pic here is of an amazing place, tucked away in Guatemala's jungle, called Tikal. A series of Mayan pyramids and large formidable structures are strewn through dense foliage, with their upper crown peering out and above the roof of the trees, like sentinels in the jungle. Here's a photo I took of my wife, Kirsty, standing in awe while she gazes up at the colossal structure!

Tikal, a UNESCO World Heritage site, dates back as far as the 4th century BC, with an apex between 200-900 AD. It also used to be the state capital, one of the most powerful Mayan Kingdoms in ancient times. Not just an amazing place historically, but visually also. It's an fascinating experience walking on small dirt paths through dense jungle, for an opening to appear just metres in front of you with a gigantic pyramid bearing down. Due to the vastness of the site, you often find yourself all alone with these huge structures. A true surreal experience.

Chichen Itza, Mexico

Undoubtedly one of Mexico’s most popular tourist destinations. This archaeological wonder will leave your jaw dropping as you gaze up at its sheer size and absolute symmetry in design.

If you're planning to visit here, make sure you stay the night close by and enter the site nice and early. This way you will have the place pretty much to yourself. As you will be able to avoid the swam of tourist that pile in by the bus load at about 10am.

Close proximity living - Cusco, Peru

I really take to shots like these that illustrate another way of life, so different to what people are accustomed to here in Australia.

Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina

Here is another perspective of a similar post from earlier.

"The  Perito Moreno Glacier is 5km (3mi) wide, with an average height of 74m (240ft) above the surface of the water. And it has a total ice depth of 170 metres (558 ft)". - Thanks to Wikipedia for the fun facts....
