NEW VIDEO: Cycling Shimanami Kaido Cycle Route, Japan

While out in Japan we cycled in a few different places but this was one of the highlights, cycling under and over the bridges of the Shimanami Kaido expressway that links the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. With a 70km marked trail, special traffic free cycle lanes on the bridges, ferries to help you get back and an assortment of unusual sights along the way it makes for a great family outing and, as you'll see from the video, gets you up close with rural and urban Japan.

*NEW VIDEO: Making Guitars & Making Music in The Philippines*

Alegre Guitars is a small guitar factory on Mactan Island, near Cebu in The Central Philippines. They handmake beautiful guitars, mandolins and ukeleles and welcome visitors to their showroom where they will explain how they make the instruments, show you around, play you a tune or two and, of course, sell you an instrument as a souvenir.

We talked to Jerry, one of the sales staff about the business while he serenaded us before selling us a ukulele! Enjoy the music.

The Ten Commandments of Family Travel

The rules of travel: they were different BC. Before Children. Both Stuart and I knew the game would change, we just didn’t know how. We went up on to the mountain top but no-one handed us tablets of stone. We had to figure out the new rules for ourselves. After 14 years of Family Travel, I think we’ve got them sussed. Haven’t we?

NEW VIDEO: World Class Underground Ziplining in Wales

Zip World Caverns is another world class attraction just opened in North Wales. An underground zip-wire, via ferrata and obstacle course, beautifully lit in an old slate cavern. There is nothing like this anywhere else in the UK.

We checked it out during its first week of opening and interviewed Commercial Director and co-owner Sean Taylor about Zip World's plans for the future.

Check out the video and see just what makes this attraction so different to anything you've probably done before.

NEW VIDEO: Bounce Below -  a Poem about bouncing

Bounce Below is an unusual underground attraction in North Wales.

Think giant nets strung high above the ground in an old colourfully lit slate cavern. Where kids and grown ups can bounce around playing a life size energetic game of snakes and ladders.

All that bouncing inspired our latest  #poetinmotion  poem which Hannah did her best to perform in situ, while bouncing.

Check out our latest video on YouTube and find out more.

NEW VIDEO - Biking Zipline

This has to be the strangest bike ride ever. On a mountain bike, on a trapeze wire, chasing our eight year old daughter. What's it like? Watch and find out.
