I routinely stay here for work almost monthly. This is a wonderful place! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. If you don't have a vehicle, the van driver is almost always available to take you places within a certain range. The rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant is also really good; albeit a little bit pricey, but the food is excellent and they have local craft beer!

The Kirkley hotel is the perfect combination of fine dining meets vacation comfort. Ive been to the Kirkley quite a few time and every time i am greet with a smile a postive can do attitude and just some of the greatest staff ive ever seen. They will wait on you hand and foot and no task is to big. Lets say a freak accident happened like a chair broke unknowingly just up and broke (just like an unpreventable accident) the kirkley not only will make you as comfortable as possible that they are sorry they will show the most unique enviroment you will ever get the pleasure of experiencing.

I was there for a company luncheon. The staff were all very courteous. The place was beautiful as it was decorated for Christmas.

Older looking from the outside but nice on the inside for a reasonable price. Rooms spacious and comfortable for a stay in Lynchburg.

The Kirkley is a nice hotel located close to Liberty University. Quick on and off from the highway. Staff is extremely friendly. Rooms are nice. Price was very reasonable for a hotel of this caliber.

The issues in previous comments for less than a year ago has not change. I stayed here this past week under CLC(corporate lodging) and was treated with attitudes and disrespect from a few of the front desk employees. When I was checking in I was told nicely that the CLC prefer the bottom floor&asked if it was okay, I said yes. After he gave me my keys&info he told me to park in the back&use a 3 digit code to enter. I thought nothing of it. I pull around back there is very poor lighting, gigantic pot holes&very scary for a female traveling alone! It's like Titanic, all elegant upstairs then find out you're staying in the LL(lower level) which was creepy. The air condition doesn't work, only the fan. The refrigerator&microwave are in your tiny closet, the bathrooms are tiny, if you're overweight or pregnant good luck trying to close the door to sit on the toilet or get into the shower. Windows dont even open a millimeter, the employees slam the door to their secret passage way at all hours. My key stopped working my 3rd day, I went to the front desk&the young woman questioned me, telling me I was using the keys wrong(on my 3rd day)&then she informed me what time check out was the next day. The restaurant staff was very nice&polite. Seriously, stop accepting reservations from certain groups, unless you only care to attract stuck up stobs that come there to have affairs and such.. Also if you want to order pizza delivery you must walk outside to meet the driver, apparently a pizza delivery person would hinder their image. If u want the feeling of being the only person left on earth then stay in the lower level, the best are soft! My review would have been completely opposite if I was at least treated without an attitude, poor posture and a crooked face :) Their wifi gave my cell phone a virus but not my notebook.

The Kirkley hotel is fantastic, business or travel. The hotel offers all amenities one can ask for, room s are beautiful and tastefully decorated. I so happened to check in the room pictured on the hotel's website, #515. The indoors pool and outdoors patio are fantastic. The Crown for the hotel is the Great Room, not withstanding its decor and bar/lounge setup, the menu is [smart]. You want calories? You got them, you want none? No problem. For the Road Warrior, the Great Room offers a "Road Warrior" option at $15.99. You pick any appetizer, entree and dessert from the menu and voila. What's the difference, you get to taste the wonderful selection in smaller portions! The service, is impeccable, friendly professional, not over-the-top. Your visit tot he Great Room is likely to be topped off with a visit from the Chef. Wine selection is great and I cannot overlook to point out, the tap selection of 17 local beers. Overall, an A+ experience. Mireille De Bruycker, Business Trip (4 nights at the Kirkley)
