Today I became a Drogre. Our friend's kid (Crew) and I were playing and we drank a super power juice that turned us in to a mixture between a dragon and an ogre with all the super powers in the world! Let the super villains tremble in fear! Later we became Bogres which is a balrog mixed with an ogre and since there were two of us we were called bogeys.

I finally made it back to Arizona. Here are a few pictures I took while out in Utah with my family. We went up to the Sundance resort and took the ski lift up the mountain. It was beautiful and Benjamin and I hiked up to the top of one of the peaks there.

This is the first time I've seen Google+ use the new Stories feature. It's pretty cool. Check it out.

I'm making a first attempt at my own carne asada. I made the marinade from scratch, so we'll see how it turns out. Can't wait for dinner tonight.

We took my Dad's new DJI - FC40 out for a spin while everyone was in town. Here are a couple videos from our flights.

And here's a link to the second video:

It's a hike for "pretty good" sushi. Lol

I've got a few other faves I'll stick with.

The one in downtown Chandler, years ago, was a conveyer-type sushi bar. "Sushi Eye In Motion" was the name of it. It's Eastwinds now.

I've had my Gear Live for a couple days now and it's slowly growing on me. Honestly though the OS has a ways to go. +Google Developers, why not give us an option to launch apps right from the clock face by swiping in from the right? Or how about two finger gestures? I could think of a number of ways that would improve the user interface through custom commands, etc.

Here's another ideas: customization (through the android wear app on the watch) of the angles at which the screen turns on.

It's an awesome product (the OS) with a ton of potential. I hope it eventually catches up with the vision I have of what it could do.

I didn't get to take any pictures of my first real dive, but I borrowed +Eric Garner's SD card from his camera. I can't wait to go diving again.

I recently tried their brisket and pork at the Great American BBQ and Beer Festival. I asked for a brisket sample with extra bark. These guys claim to be Texas BBQ, but the meat I tried looked like they didn't use any kind of rub at all to form a good Texas bark. Beyond not having a good bark, the brisket was extremely dry. It looked like we got pieces of the point to which I don't even understand how the point could even get so dry. I should not ever *want* to put BBQ sauce on brisket. Good Texas style brisket can stand on its own without a need for sauce. I will never pass up trying a new BBQ place, but I can confidently say I will not go back to this place if they can't fix these issues. I had some of their pulled pork too and it was just as dry. When the saliva in your mouth is sucked into the meat as you eat it, there's a problem.
