"Global AgeWatch reports that income security for U.S. seniors is among the worst in the developed world."

The more we cut the further we fall on all lists. At some point this has to become glaringly obvious to even the most hardened cynic.

Oh, and all government projects will fail if you cut their funding and power to the point where the only logical conclusion is failure.

An yet, some the ass-hat FIFA president will probably still be re-elected.
A closer look suggests that there is a lot of real-world suffering happening as a direct result of FIFA's decisions.

Actress Jessica Alba has quickly built a personal $200 million fortune, and she’s done it the hard way, in a field that has nothing to do with showbiz: selling natural, nontoxic household goods to helicopter parents.

Fantastic program!
The Golden State is investing some of its carbon cap & trade fees into clean energy for low income homeowners through a partnership with the nonprofit Grid Alternatives.

Great, this is just marginally better than the Comcast - TWC merger.

Steve was prompt in getting back with me, quoting, and repairs. The first chance the weather allowed the repairs he came by, fixed the problem (boots around the PVC exhaust pipes had dryrotted.), called me to let me know, and left the invoice in the Mailbox. At $75 for a service call, an $9 in parts, plus he inspected the rest of my roof. I'll be calling Tip Top Roofing again if I have any needs.
