Being a text guy, I've long wondered why video, and in particular, podcasts, can be effective in marketing.

So a couple of questions:

1) Have you experimented with video and/or podcasts?
2) How do they stack up with traditional text-based marketing?
3) Which performs better, video or podcast?

Especially with the introduction of Communities, it looks more and more like Google+ is shedding its "ghost town" reputation. At least I am getting more interested.
