Getting ready for a snowstorm? How about some soup when you're socked in? These are all delicious, #vegan and #glutenfree .
If you are lucky enough to live in a place where the sun shines year-round and you are still wearing shorts, consider yourself very lucky. For most of us, winter means it is cold -- sometimes very cold. When you and your family need to warm up after sledding or playing in the snow, ...

Now that the holidays are over, it's time to get back to nourishing food that's as tasty as it is good for me. This BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP is perfect for this time of year.
After the overindulgence of the holidays -- and boy did I overindulge!!! -- I need to get back to healthier eating. With starting my new company, though, (did I mention Windy City Cocoa?), I don't have a ton of time to spend in the kitchen. How do I get my eating back on track?

Now here's a dessert that I can serve every day! My family loves this #vegan, #glutenfree , #foodallergy friendly Chocolate Banana Shake.
Even though I don't like bananas, my boys do. When I create banana recipes, I have to rely on them to give a thumbs up. This shake got a big smile from everyone! This vegan, gluten-free, chocolate banana shake is easy to whip up and is chocolate-y enough to make a great dessert.

I make waffles pretty often for my family. When I want to make a special breakfast -- or breakfast for dinner -- I find waffles easier and neater to make than pancakes. Recently, So Delicious sent me a whole bunch of their reformulated coconut milk coffee creamers.

Butternut Squash Smashed Potatoes are a lovely side dish for Thanksgiving or any day.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Wash the exterior of the squash, and pierce it a few times. Place squash on a baking sheet and bake for 50-60 minutes. Let squash cool after cooking until it's easy to handle. (You can even wrap it in foil and refrigerate it for a day.) Wash potatoes and cut into chunks.

Bring some sunshine into cloudy fall days with GOLDEN CORN SOUP (with amaranth). It's a gluten-free, vegan, allergy friendly delight!
The Golden Corn Soup from Super Seeds is just right for autumn meals. It's smooth and creamy and the amaranth provides filling fiber and protein. Serve it with a crusty slice of Gluten-free Apple Bread for a delicious meal that will warm you from the inside out.
