Open post to Apple: New Mac Pro PLEASE! Let us know at WWDC. Would you rather I buy a Mac mini or a Mac Pro? My Mac Pro is 6 yo and I've wanted to replace it for a while. Please give me something expandable to replace it with. I beg of you.
Apple has had a busy 2013, but there's one place where it's really letting things slide. Don Reisinger takes the Cupertino giant to task for leaving the Mac Pro to languish.
As I sat here today thinking about what I should write for my latest column here on SlashGear, I was distracted. I didn’t look at the latest news, like I

Wonderful post. Helps to explain why we need to accept beginners where they are and not get too caught up in how we think it should be.

Hot damn, people. +Caroline Pointer and +Kathryn M. Doyle on one show? Almost too much awesome in one place....almost ;)
Join us Friday evening at 8PM CT for our we-can't-keep-it-to-20-minutes-because-we're-having-too-much-fun show where we'll be going over the news in the genealogy industry for the week, research tips, AND we will have Kathryn Doyle from the California Genealogical Society as our guest! We'll be talking about what Kathryn does for her society, how societies can be beneficial to your research, and specifically how the California Genealogical Society can help you in your research.

You don't want to miss this episode -- Episode 7! -- because we're going to have a surprise panelist this week. ;)

Where can you tune-in to watch?

1) Well if you have RSVPd to this Invite that you are going, then the Event will be automatically added to your Google Calendar and a reminder will be sent to you via email and Google+ notifications right before the show starts, and you may view and comment from there/here {the invite}.

2) *If you want, you can view & comment on the show from my YouTube Channel:*

Right before the show, on my YouTube Channel, click on:
>> the Home Button
>> then Feed
>> then click on the What's Up Genealogy? Show

>>>NOTE: If you are wanting *to watch from your iPad, then you can only watch the show on my YouTube Channel at this time by going to my YouTube Channel and following the direction above for viewing from YouTube to tune-in.

3) *The show will also be embedded in the Tech for Genealogy Community right before the show starts:*
And you may view and comment from there.

Things to remember:
1) This is a Public Event, meaning everyone is invited.
2) If you RSVP to this event that you are going, then it will be added to your Google Calendar and a reminder will be sent to you automatically.
3) You don't have to RSVP the event in order to watch it.
4) You don't even have to receive a personal Google+ Event Invite to RSVP or watch the show.
5) You don't have to RSVP that you are not going.

Need to convert the time for your time zone? Here's a handy tool for that:

Very interesting method to get more use out of google analytics.
While +Julien Coquet shares amazing hacks on offline tracking I thought I might share a tutorial to help you get the most out of the awesome new features of Universal Tracking (and Google Tag Manager)
