Of all the interviewers I've talked to about iSkip over the years, David Ralph host of the Join Up Dots Podcast is one of the best! Not only is his accent easy on the ears, the questions he asked inspired me to go deeper than ever before. Have a listen and see for yourself! This is one not to be skipped==> http://www.joinupdots.com/2015/02/20/298-kim-corbin

The Huffington Post invited me to write a GPS for the Soul guide for SKIPPING...Here it is! :-)
Kim Corbin is the founder of iSkip.com. Here she shares her personal GPS Guide on why it's OK to let your inner child take over from time to time, and why she recommends skipping as part of an everyday routine. As children, we skip in play; we ski...

Exciting news! I was recently invited to start blogging on The Huffington Post...and I said YES! It's totally exciting, a little nerve wracking, and feels like a huge skip forward as far as my writing goes. Here's my first post===> http://huff.to/1EqWYZH
Have you ever had the experience when a seemingly random scene or interaction with someone sticks in your memory for a very long time? One such conversation for me happened in the early 2000s at the height of the skipping movement media whirlwind. ...

Nice work, Kim.  As someone who's meditation practice alternates mainly between mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana, I think you'll find that one compliments the other greatly.  Extending metta to others both in and out of meditation is one surefire way to break down any feelings of disconnect with others and helps build kindness towards oneself, too, which is often the hardest part.  Build that metta muscle!  (And congrats on the blog spot!)

My latest HuffPo blog just went live! This time I write about the most profound worship experience I've ever had thanks to Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox and The Cosmic Mass Oakland. The next Cosmic Mass is on Sun 2/8 at 6:30 pm PST at the Scottish Rites Center in Oakland! For tickets and more info visit http://bit.ly/1DHetGt.

Wails, whimpers, and screams filled the large hall for several minutes, until Matthew asked us to very gently sit up and to start toning together. Our voices united in the most soothing, healing sound of harmony. As it filled my entire being, I felt ...

"I choose to acknowledge my body as the incredible ally that it is, instead of using it as a container for my judgment and disdain." -From my latest blog on The Huffington Post. http://huff.to/1xTDZEg
And so I am writing a new ending when it comes to my relationship with my body. I choose to rock this statuesque physique from deep within. I choose to acknowledge my body as the incredible ally that it is, instead of using it as a container for my j...

Beyond grateful that a place like New World Library exists where (a) coworkers are up for meditating together and (b) the powers that be fully embrace the benefits of meditation in the workplace! Here's what happened when a group of us committed to meditating every day for 21-days==> http://bit.ly/1l1npNn
For a long time now, I've been a fan of doing 21-day experiments as a way of kick-starting positive habits. The first time I did one, I decided to wal...

We just returned from a weekend at Parker's Resort camping in our RV and we loved it so much that we rebooked for another upcoming weekend before we left. The property managers have clearly invested a lot of time and energy into creating the lovely, park like setting we enjoyed so much. For just $10 they delivered a fire pit and a huge bunch of firewood to our campsite, which kept us warm when the temperatures dipped in the evening. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time together, and can't wait to go back in just a few weeks!
