"A new study shows that “reproductive control”—when a man allows or forces his partner to get pregnant, then makes her have an abortion—is more common than you’d think."

Read on the internet recently: "...Are truckers generally reliable for hitching rides or is that just movie bullshit?
A buddy of mine from school had a similar plan after he read Walden and Civil Disobedience but he ended up getting lost and wandering around for three hours before he called his parents. Now he's attending university."

Loads of interesting whatnot here. I was heartbroken to find that the HTML on this was not done by hand, but gently cheered that it wasn't any snazzier than "meta name="GENERATOR" content="Mozilla/4.76 [en] (Win98; U) [Netscape]"." Check out "72 Pencils" and "The Incompatible Food Triad"...

Ah, the classic internet recipe review. Full five stars! And: "used mozarella instead of cheddar - used sour cream instead of cream - skipped the bread crumbs entirely and added fresh garlic..."

Unsurprisingly: "Again, the Calgary study: "our thematic analysis shows food-secure Canadians tend to associate Kraft Dinner with comfort, while food-insecure Canadians tend to associate Kraft Dinner with discomfort.""

(I eat it about twice a year, with less than the suggested amount of milk, more butter, and about 1/2 cup of noodles chucked in the bin for extra cheez flavour. Like all carefully engineered processed foods it is quite palatable when made just so and eaten quickly, and really terrible if reheated or not made just so. As kids we would occasionally plead for KD and occasionally receive a bowl of what we termed 'guilt KD' -- it came with sliced carrots and other veg mixed in and boiled with the noodles. There was never enough cheez for the add-ins, and it was not comfort food. I think we eventually stopped asking -- that rather than the added nutrition may have even been the goal of the 'guilt KD'...)

The comments are distressing. "U cannot see the fragrance of a flower but smell it.same is the case with hpathic medicine." "But what if it has effects that are immeasurable beyond chemistry and physics that no one can explain." "If a proportion of people taking homoeopathic remedies feel better then it's worth them taking them."

[A small story with a happy ending. Would most of us have taken the cargo into consideration? I don't know.]
