I've already posted this via +Chromixium OS but everyone needs to be aware of this. If you are running Chromixium 32 bit and have switched to Chrome, there will be no more updates to it from March. This almost certainly means no more Flash updates for 32 bit Chromixium either. Chromium browser (without Flash) will continue to be updated though. You can remove Flash in the control panel if you are want to stay secure.

I wonder if Cub Linux should be 64 bit only. Chromixium 1.5 32 bit could have one last service pack..?

To clear up this scuttlebutt again..

When LP came along, and the many popular features from PA and AOKP became depricated, we shifted from (P)A.(A)OKP.(C).M to our own entity as PAC using CM as a base and adding our flavor of options and features, just like we have always done.

With MM we have decided to take another step and now base off AOSP, while still adding our sprinkles on the frosting, onward we shall march! :D

There still seem to be some old haters and grudge holders still mixing us up with the P.A.C. ROM from then, and also what some senior members have said then, that in no way reflects PAC today. Get off our backs. ktxbai!

We're not going any time soon! We have been taking the time to rebuild much of our back-end, which will make all our lives easier when done.

The Nightly stop is completely on me. Our system was already on the tip of a fall, so I stopped it before that could happen. During this time, we found so many things in need of repair or we had so many ideas for improvement, that we have have been rewriting most of the process to ensure when we do roll it (hopefully) soon, the previous issues will never happen again!

At the same time the Dev team is bringing up MM and preparing to start re-adding our love back to a very naked ROM. :)

The Maintainers are also busy restructuring their devices to the new setup!

I hope that makes up for the fail whale on status updates our side for now.

The #Ubuntu Software Centre Is (Finally) Being Replaced #linux

The Ubuntu Software Centre is to be REPLACED in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Users of the Xenial Xerus desktop will find the familiar (and somewhat cumbersome) Software Centre no longer available. GNOME’s Software application will take its place. New plugins will be…
