My SoMe Notes on the Coca-Cola SoMe Video

People talked about wanting to take notes and discuss the fabulous Coke Social Media strategy video/s. I just watched parts 1 and 2 again, and in doing so very quickly typed up a sharable and editable workflowy note here:

https://workflowy.com/shared/92452f0f-7b4e-c443-6295-203613bad4bd/

These notes were quite off the top of my head as the videos were playing, spellings and grammar be damned, and not in any way uber organized (though because workflowy changes fast, when you read it they might have already gone through revisions by myself or others). Feel free to use them yourself, or add to them either through direct edits or by adding sub items (probably best). They are just a reef point for activity, use them how you wish.

The two amazing vids are here if you haven't watched them, or would like to refresh:

Part I: Coca Cola Content 2020 Part One
Part II: Coca Cola Content 2020 Part Two

The most important things may be the two definitions:

Liquid: Definition: elements of content that move freely amongst themselves and do NOT become separated stories, rather like molecules that become gases if they become too separate, our stories must remain connected.

Dynamic Storytelling: Definition: the developments of incremental elements of a brand idea that get dispersed systematically across multiple channels of conversation for the purposes of creating a unified and coordinated brand experience. (3 min mark)

My biggest criticism is that Coke seems to be missing one large major concept here, and that is how "linked" should not only be narratively linked, but also structurally linked, as I write: "The taxonomy of SoMe structure (broad internal connections like site to site flow, and actually SoMe content link habits) should mirror to some degree the data and stories."

My original G+ post on it:
