As I moved around the old city, I came across this father and son just sitting on a corner. The bouncing light of the Old City's limestone buildings washed over their faces. The son seemed to be remembering something that troubled him. There was plenty of troubling events in Jerusalem.

On one of my trips to Jerusalem I observed these men just hanging out. The one on the far end kept glancing over at the others with this look of mistrust. It kind of represented the way most seemed to feel in Jerusalem. No one trusts anyone.

On one of my weekend trips from the dig site I decided to head up to Nazareth to see the City Jesus grew up in. As I approached the city, I came across this Bedouin tending his flock of goats. He had the kindest eye's so I shot a few images of him.

one more from the Port of Acre in Israel. Shot back in the early eighties when the two big tv shows were Dallas and The Six Million Dollar Man. These boys were clearly fans of the latter. Although on every Friday night, you would find many gathered around the TV to watch Dallas.

Something you won't see often in the Middle East, public affection by Arabs. This was another image I shot while exploring the Port of Acre.

One evening as we drove the perimeter of the Old City in Jerusalem we came around the corner and I grabbed this shot of The Dome of The Rock inside the Old City.

Back in the early 80's I lived in Israel for a few months to travel around the country, work as the Chief Photographer on an Archaeological Expedition and shoot a few magazine articles. The photo below was shot in the Port of Acre, which is one of Israel's oldest ports.
