I'm not for police militarization in the least bit.

But there is a little irony here for John Oliver, as he used an Keene, NH as an example for no need for Military style equipment. The police filed an application for equipment to protect there annual pumpkin festival. Now, who needs to protect a pumpkin festival? John Oliver was right in his assumption to believe that a pumpkin festival would likely not be a hotbed for terrorist activity. However, without further comment i bring you a bunch of assholes who would make that equipment necessary.

Keene State College students quickly cleaned up from a chaotic weekend on Sunday after violent parties near the city's annual pumpkin festival led to destruction, dozens of arrests and multiple injuri

A temporary workaround for this would be to simply disable Siri from the lock screen. If your someone who is truly concerned enough about the contents of your phone and you think somebody would be able to spend enough time with your device to eject the sim and ask it for your email, then your probably wouldn't mind the disabled feature.

While this is kind of an issue, as the security researcher for AVG said yesterday in an NPR interview, they have not experienced or seen reports of this in the wild.

Honestly, i'm not for comparing the value of any one human life.

There is a lot of psychology that goes into how someone connects with the life of a stranger.

People didn't have that for Ritchie. Most don't.

There are family's that hurt everyday because of the loss of both of these men, why are we comparing dead men.

I know, i guess that's what happens when you put together the best talent in the world and they refuse to play as a team. I heard the word complacent many times during the broadcast.

Not so sure I agree with investors decision to find negativity in Googles latest earnings report. It was a great quarter by any standards. Profits were good. CPC remained steady for once in many quarters. No cause for a 6% drop in after hours. If the Motorola segment hadn't dragged on revenues I think things would be looking even more solid.

All I can say in response to this article, is that great things don't come easy. I have faith that the Motorola team can pull it off.
Motorola on Tuesday unveiled a gorgeous Moto 360 smartwatch that will be powered by Google's newly announced Android Wear operating system. But the...

Cal bugs - Android  -

Love the heads up feature. However there is a bug when deleting events from the calendar, when a meeting is canceled. I found a work around to fix the issue by using the multi tasking tray to close cal, but as long as cal remains open, the event will not delete out of 'heads up'. It does not show in Cal anymore, yet the countdown continues in 'heads up' mode.

What I find strange is the lack of reports of Apple Health not working. When maps was functional but had major issues it was all over the place. Health is a complete joke thus far, every time data is input it's only a short period of time before the data is lost. You might get a day view but all dashboard widgets are disabled on a random basis. It is simply unusable.

If Apple wants people to take their Health app seriously, you shouldn't have to wake up to an empty dashboard and all data points switched to off. Now switching them back in doesn't work at all. Maybe some downtime on their end this morning.

She must feel violated. Poor thing.
As the Senate committee allows the NSA to violate our constitutional rights, hopefully this will hit close to home enough for her to take steps to ensure checks and balances in this nation. This kind of thing won't stop, until those responsible for the violations are held accountable for their actions. Not doing anything about it only emboldens those that violate the law. If you don't slap the hand that is in the cookie jar, before you know it, all the cookies are gone.
