Check out this movie showcasing a few members of my faith. Net proceeds go to the American Red Cross.
Meet the Mormons examines the diverse lives of six members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. From individual passions to daily struggles, each story challenges the stereotypes that surround the faith.

I first came to Albuquerque for a summer job in 1991. I went to La Salita and have been hooked since. I lived away from New Mexico for many years, so I wasn't able to enjoy La Salita very often. Fortunately, I married a New Mexican, so we would always have to visit La Salita while we were here to see her parents. La Salita has the best food in town. I love their signature burritos, the stuffed sopapillas, enchiladas, and their chile rellenos. It is always hard to make a decision on what to order, but I always enjoy whatever I order. I love the salsa, which is basically warm green chile. For those who like Mexican food, go somewhere else. Enjoy your tomatoes for salsa (rather than the warmed green chile). This is New Mexican food, which means that it is a fusion of Mexican and Native American food smothered in chile. +Mike Gerardo, La Salita is a NEW Mexican Restaurant. There is a difference between Mexican and New Mexican. Go ahead and enjoy your Taco Bell while I enjoy the green chile at the best New Mexican Restaurant in town.

Wal-Mart already lowers the quality of a neighborhood, but this was a bad location before Wal-Mart came. This site is full of transients and I feel very unsafe in the parking lot. The site his extra guards to protect their merchandise, but the parking lot is frightening. My wife and daughters were followed out if the site to their car and were threatened. They will NEVER go back. Yeah, the problem is more the neighborhood, but Wal-Mart didn't help.

Worst Service Ever I don't live in Carlsbad, so I came to the store while I was in town. Three years ago we came through to check out the Caverns and tried to get a shake. After waiting for ten minutes or more, we finally left and went somewhere else. Fast forward three years and I wanted a shake so I figured we would try again. BIG MISTAKE! Service hasn't improved...in all likelihood it has gotten worse. We waited ten minutes before they took our order. Then we waited twenty minutes before they came back out with PART of the offer. I had to complain that we were missing the shakes and a grilled cheese sandwich. They couldn't tell me which shake was which. After they finally came out with the rest of the order, we had been there for nearly an hour and hadn't eaten. We had to go bang on the for because we didn't get straws or spoons for our shakes. We left to go to our hotel. When my wife finally tried get shake, it was super lemon power. It was so potent that she had to throw it away. I wonder if the staff knows how to mix a shake. Bottom line: I like Sonic, but I will never come back to this one. Do yourself a favor and don't stop. Keep on driving. Any other place has got to be a MAJOR improvement.

It is a buffet restaurant, so who really cares about the decor? Overall, I recommend this restaurant and plan on returning in the future. The barbecue was excellent. My family enjoyed our experience.

We took a car in for a multipoint inspection related to selling a vehicle. They said we need an air filter and brakes. We we shocked that they missed the tires with dry rot. They also missed that the rear shocks or struts were nearly gone and that there was a transmission fluid leak. They charged a lot for the inspection and did shoddy work. I don't trust them for future repairs. GO ELSEWHERE!!!

We took our kids in for "home school" photos and they ended up doing the "green screen" so they can digitally change the background. HORRIBLE RESULTS. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!! My children have blonde hair and the results are unacceptable. I will have to take the photographs myself. Rating change 4 (excellent) --> 1 (poor) due to this past experience. ------------------------------ Original Post; The pictures are expensive, but they are significantly better than most studios. Their school photography branch is inexpensive and much better than the competition. We love to take our children there for "home school" photos because their school photographers are usually sub-standard. We love the pictures we have gotten from Kim Jew (I just wish it was less expensive).
