There's a housing mobility program in Buffalo that's helping people change their lives by changing their address. And while it's successfully helped over 4,000 people get into better neighborhoods, it's in a funding crisis, and could use your help. See the Indiegogo link below; the CHC is a non-profit and eligible for tax write-offs.

What's "housing mobility counseling"? Marketplace recently profiled a program in Chicago working to get people the knowledge and help they need to "change their polka dot" and fundamentally change their chance for success: http://www.marketplace.org/topics/wealth-poverty/changing-neighborhoods-can-change-your-life.

Unnecessary disclosure: My wife Elizabeth Fox-Solomon is on the board of Housing Opportunities Made Equal, the home of the Community Housing Center. Learn more about it in the video at the link.
