Pixar's animated lamp, but real

Physical engineering students created a real-life freaking Luxo, the lamp that launched Pixar and its logo (http://www.ben-dror.com/index.php/projects/lamp/). "Pinokio" has an Arduino processor, servos, a webcam, and a mechanical Iris.

It's really nifty, cute, and clever—until you realize that it won't let you shut it down. Watch the video and see what I mean.

Mr. Purdy, I am new to the Google Plus realm please forgive me for this comment that is not directly relevant to the posted subject matter. I just wanted to say Thank you for your review and writing about the Google Chrome book. I found your review to be the most salient and helpful.
