After managing to avoid being sent to Vietnam, I somehow got connected with some political folks in the 1970s, and worked on a few campaigns. It was fun, but more important was that it got me interested in Economics. in 1979 I married the most wonderful woman in the world. Nothing else even comes close. In 1981 I started a doctoral program in Economics at the University of Michigan. I then taught for a few years at Concordia University, and wandered into computers. Eventually this got me into Project Management. I enjoy my job, and project management seems to suit me. In summer I spend every spare moment in the garden, and in the winter I work on my Web sites. I also sing in the church choir, and love music of most kinds.
